Pleasures of Province
I don't always get a chance to go back to my hometown. I mean , i get to go back maybe just like 3 to 5 times ina year . That is because my husband's got little chances to have his leaves approved as well, and of course since my daughters are still little, i can't manage to travel alone. And because of that, i am missing a lot of beautiful and free things when in province. So today , i wanna share to all of you , some of the things i am grateful for being back to my hometown.
The heat feels of beautiful sun and stunning blue sky
The fun and excitement of knowing that we're just near to resorts
Free and fresh bananas from the tree just on the backyard
Thirst quencher and fresh buko (coconut junior, LOL)
The feeling of being back to home. my original house
Seeing what we call "birds of paradise" makes me remind my grandma who loves to take care of plants like this
The tree of "tuba" as we call it, we use it back then to cure bone fractures or muscle spasm , by just putting it in on affected area with oil
The 'Oregano' plant , we use to cure cough by just boiling it with water and drink it.
The enjoyment of my kiddos to play freely in a wide frontyard or with any vehicles of my parents and siblings
The plant we call "dilaw" , we use it to cure cough too, since it's said to have tormeric content and can also be an ingredient for dishes.
Our little 'red chilli peppers' all for free just inside the yard
The bermuda grass makes me remind of childhood , we used to lay down and play barefoot sometimes under the rain.
The orchids of my momma , just newly organized , no flowers yet.
The 'santan' flowers , with variation of colors, we got yellow and red here
Our kubo (nipa hut) with cool-feeling when you're inside it
Our backyard , greenish and with lots of fruit trees inside
Ang ganda ng bahay nyo. Sarap tumira naman jan. Ang homey. Ang fresh pa tingnan kasi ang daming halaman at kahoy. ENjoy your stay!
thanks @leeart , sarap nga sa probinsiya walang kahirapan , walang gutom
Basta masipag magtanim di ka gugutomin :D
