Sophia was executed in the streets of Saudi Arabia
It didn't last long- the citizenship of Sophia the robot in Saudi Arabia.
Sophia is the first robot-citizen who was executed after a band of angry Saudis set a public execution, creating another milestone for Saudi Arabia's progress.
The crowd was stoning her, but her carbon fiber exoskeleton didn't suffer much. Then the angry crowd tied her neck with chain from a trailer hitch and drove her through the streets until they found the robot's body headless.
Saudi men's motivation for her execution arouse from the robots behavior - going strutting around the city without a male escort; not wearing a hijab; fluttering eyelashes at married men and expressing opinions of her own.
