😍 Speaking My Mind 1- Eyes Are A Window To The Soul. 😍
They say if you look deep inside somebody's eyes you will be able to see their soul. You will be able to see if a person is truly happy or hiding his pain very well. Next time you have a chance and you really want to find out what kind of a person someone truly is, just look them in the eyes.
They will tell you if someone is a kind good hearted person or a liar and a cheat. They will tell if someone is deep hiding the pain he or she is living with. They will tell you if someone just needs a hug. Or someone to open up to and say what is bothering them. Their eyes will tell you everything. They can't tell lies no matter how hard someone is trying to hide it. They are the best lie detector in existence today.
In your eyes, you can literally see the universe. Just go in front of the mirror and look into your own eyes and you will see stars and galaxies. You will see we are all, and all is us. We are all interconnected on a deeper level we can even understand now. We are infinite souls living a human being existence. Our lives are one big lesson. The question is are we learning my lessons or keep repeating the same mistakes?
And, the last question I have for you my friends is this? What do you see when you look deep into my eyes? What do they tell you about me?

Eyes are the window to the soul, indeed. Sometimes I have a hard time looking people in the eyes, not because I'm dishonest, but because I feel vulnerable. Maybe I don't want people to be able to see my soul. Isn't that interesting? I'm working on it. I do make a point to connect with people with eye contact, even if it's very brief. Just like I make a point to smile at strangers, especially those people who are often pushed to the margins, like the homeless. Sharing a brief moment of eye contact can be a gift of acknowledgement. A kindness.
Well, it sure is interesting. Sometimes you don't want them to know what is truly going on with you. And, yes, I can understand that. But, sometimes it is very hard to hide it from some people. It is like they know everything about you with just one second of eye contact. I am sure you are not a dishonest person and somebody looking away does not mean they are dishonest. It could be that they are just shy and maybe lack a little bit of confidence. Which are not bad traits as well in my book. That is just who they are. But, it is the way their eyes look. I think we started to ignore our gut feelings and usually, the first gut feeling you get about somebody from just one look at their eyes is a correct one.
And, yes, sometimes one eye contact with a person struggling can do a lot of good. Thank you for such an amazing reply @katrina-ariel. I really enjoyed reading it. :)

You are so right on the eyes to the soul philosophy.
There are many times that you can literally see that heart that is pumping through the eyes.
And your eyes, it tells your journey. From the innocent pair of eyes you once showed to us when you first started out writing here, to now à man who has journeyed through much to tell a person, "trust me lad, things can be tough in life, but this can pass."
You have gone through a lot in this journey, and I wish you strength, and shalom (peace in your mind, health in your body, and joy in your soul)
