Wojtek Siudmak was born on October 10, 1942 in Wieluń, where he graduated from elementary school. He studied at the High School of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the years 1956-1961, and then studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1961-1966. In September 1966 he came to France to continue his studies at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1967-1968. He lives and creates in France. He is considered the leading representative of fantastic realism.

Siudmak does painting (mostly uses acrylics), graphics, sculpture, and is the author of book illustrations. What he creates is far from fashion, timeless. The painter refers to human visions, often inspired by a dreamlike spectacle or a rich imagination. The painter calls his work "fantastic hyperperizmism" and repeatedly emphasizes her connections with Dali's painting. At the same time, he emphasizes his artistic separateness, through his works he created a personal state, his own world full of strange thoughts and fantastic motifs whose motto is the phrase "Only the dream of the sea to cross the invincible obstacles." And when we look at the perfect line and the details given with photographic accuracy, we have no doubt that this is a world-class art.
