Haha yeah, I was just trying to think of a title to get people's attention (I used to work in a production house making tv commercials so I guess old habit die hard)
Yeah, I totally didn't mean for you to use my layout, just wanted to inspire you to think about the presentation a little. Then I saw your next comic on my phone (on eSteem) and the vertical layout actually works really well on the phone's sceen. My layout is more like a newspaper comic, so yeah, it's really not ideal.
This is the pic that made me think you've got potential for a hit comic - it describes the steem experience perfectly...
That title wouldn't really be "to get people's attention", it would be click-bait because that title literally had nothing to do with the comic itself.
Again, if... I was really concerned with presentation, I wouldn't be making doodles. I'd be doing something a bit more like this.
But yeah, that's kinda always been the appeal of doodle-comics, especially like on Tumblr, where the whole site is based around scrolling, having it laid out like that is pretty common there.
Not to mention, most of what I know about comics I learned from reading a lot of manga, and when they have the simple comic strips like these, they're always vertical, not horizontal.
They're also usually 4 panels tho LMAO

Honestly, the biggest problem with Steemit is that people on here... really like to talk about Steemit. I've made a handful of posts recently about Steemit just cuz it was relevant to what I was thinking about at the time, but if people are expecting a lot of Steemit-related content from me, they're gonna have a bad time lol.
I'm really glad to hear that, actually - When I started this thread, my feed was full of borning crytpo garbage so this was my way of trying to improve that. It hasn't even been a week and already I have a lot less steemit fanbois and much more interesting stuff to read (artists also tend to be interesting writers as well)
Don't read too much into my comments about the presentation and the layout. I just wanted to encourage and inspire you to post more. (hopefully I've done that at least a little)
I actually haven't read a lot of manga at all (although I loved Elfin Lied) and I was thinking more about the webcomics I read, like sinfest and penny arcade.
I'm a fan no matter what layout and style you choose, as long as you keep posting I'm happy...

I wandered over to Twitter and forgot to post for a while... So I started following a couple Steemit Twitters so I'd have reminders, and was like THE TECHNOBABBLE. WHY THE TECHNOBABBLE.
And quickly unfollowed them and got kinda depressed tbh u_u)
