[HEY, LOOK, COMICS!] + [I'M A PROFESSIONAL??!] + [Some Stuff I've Been Meaning to Post]

To which I was just like, bro it's a doodle comic, if I was gonna bother with presentation, I'd be all like, makin' it sleek and stylin' all manga-style flsjlfjljsljfl

And so I decided to do just that for the sake of because I can LMAO

Honestly, I was originally going to just leave it as a sketch, but I'm considering maybe doing comics for the @steemgigs thing, so I wanted to have something nice to show off for that? Not totally sure if I'm going to do it or not, but I do have another comic I'm planning to do, that was suggested by a friend on deviantART.

Also, I had to change the dialogue some so I could make the panel layout flow better, and not be so text-heavy... but then it was too sappy, and didn't work as a gag comic, which I was kinda blegh about.
So I just ditched the dialogue for the finished version LOL

I forgot that my self-insert wears gloves until I was shading it. Ignore the fact that they totally shouldn't be able to use a phone while wearing gloves. It's um. Their anime super power.

I wonder, since this thing is so sappy, maybe I should make it an entry for the art jam thing I'm trying to do.
Which like almost nobody seems interested in.

Seriously that thing has like 9 views, I thought an art jam would be fun?? But maybe people would prefer it if it was a contest or something.
I personally kinda find contests stressful, and I thought it would be a nice way to meet new creative-type people?

Idk.

If I don't get many people on board after a few weeks, I may change the name to "Steemit Weekly Theme" or "Weekly Theme Challenge" or something, idk.

Or maybe I should just ditch it altogether and go back to taking requests, LMAO

Oh yeah, that's a thing, by the way. I was actually getting requests/suggestions from people on deviantART about stuff I should make on here, because I was going to do speed paints...
But my laptop fritzed out and the computer I'm using now lags really bad when I use recording software.

But yeah, here's a few things I did for that recently:

This first one was a birthday request I did for my friend sekkechi (they're @solarmanti here on Steemit), which is their Final Fantasy OC interacting with Genesis from Crisis Core.

This next one was suggested by my friend Gamma-sama from deviantART, which is Roll.EXE from the Mega Man Battle Network series.
I was wanting to do linearts at the time, so that's why it's not colored or anything. I actually have something fun in mind for the background I'd like to do with this piece if I can ever get around to it LOL

Aaaand then there's this cute Digimon OC that was requested by Prismblack91! Who's. Kinda this random person on deviantART I've barely spoken to lol.
