Para esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes una canción de Edgar Alexander. Es uno de los músicos venezolanos más importantes dentro del género de pop y rock. Fue integrante de la agrupación de referencia en nuestro panorama musical: Azúcar, Cacao y Leche (1971). También cuando hablamos de Edgar Alexander, necesariamente tenemos que referirnos a Los Impala, agrupación musical fundada en Maracaibo en 1959, pioneros del rock venezolano. El tema que cantaré "Hoy" para ustedes está en su discografía para el año 1972. Excelente cantante, hermosa canción. Aquí va para ustedes.

In this opportunity I want to share with you a song by Edgar Alexander. He is one of the most important Venezuelan musicians in the genre of pop and rock. excellent cover brother, unfortunately the young people of today do not know the history of rock in our country. I have always liked impalas. maybe my musical education has made me see how valuable is the contribution of impalas at the time.

excelente cover hermano, lastimosamente los jovenes de hoy desconocen la historia del rock en nuestro pais. Los impalas siempre me han gustado. puede que mi educacion musical me haya hecho ver lo valioso que es el aporte de los impalas en su momento.
espero escuchar mas covers de esta increible agrupacion de tu guitarra y voz. muy bien ejecutada la pieza, buena afinacion, gran trabajo amigo gracias por compartir y mostrar un poco de la historia musical de nuestro pais.

Gracias por tu apoyo. Que bueno encontrar gente que valora los grupos pioneros del rock venezolano. Los Impala; Azúcar, cacao y leche, Bacro, Clanners, llamados luego "Sangre" ( con un solo disco grabado en España), Spiteri, Sima, Los tres tristes tigres, entre otros; desconocidos por mucha gente que gusta del rock. Me he sentido tentado a hacer algunas versiones, pero no me había decidido hasta ahora. No es fácil la elección, espero pronto subir algo más. Un abrazo fraterno y mucha salud para ti también!!!
