Antes de comenzar a dibujar...
planeo un viaje
un viaje que me llevará al lugar correcto.
Medito y pienso
con la mirada perdida sobre un trozo de papel en blanco
Tal vez no ves nada
Pero yo empiezo a conectarme con el infinito
con ese mundo desconocido
No puedo ponerle nombre
pero puedo mostrártelo con líneas, puntos y colores.

Before i start drawing
I plan a journey
A journey that will take me to the right place
I meditate and think
Staring blankly on a piece of blank paper
Maybe you don´t see anything
But i begin to connect with the infinite
With that unknown world
I can´t name it
but i can show you with lines, dots and colors

En esta ilustración mi viaje comenzó en escala de grises.
Inspirada por un programa que había visto de maquillaje y efectos especiales muy conocido llamado Face-off.
Todos los artistas crearían su propio "Cíclope". Los cíclopes son criaturas mitológicas, gigantes de un solo ojo.
Y como soy una amante de la Mitología y de sus seres fantásticos, decidí crear el mío también.
Uno lleno de sabidurías ancestrales, que me recordara esas 3 estrellas mágicas que me hipnotizaban de pequeña...
Del famoso Cinturón de Orión (Mi casa imaginaria y fuente inagotable de inspiración).

In this illustration my journey began in grayscale.
Inspired by makeup and special effects tv show Known as "Face off. All artist would create their own cyclops.
Cyclops are mythological creatures, one-eye giants. I am a Mythology Lover and its fantastic beings so i decided to create mine too.
One full of ancestral wisdom that reminded me of those 3 magical stars that hypnoticed me as i child...
From the famous Orion`s belt ( my imaginary home and inexhaustible source of inspiration).
