Building castles

We build our own sand castles.

The aspirations the ideals, the expectations are all within our mental sphere, they are an important part of our personality.

A woman may want motherhood, as well as a man.
Have a child on which to place love, hopes, and expectations.
Building together a future, made of concrete things but also of dreams.

But what fucking future?

What is the future ahead?

Personally, I am very pessimistic, we are increasingly prone to arson and climate change.
I cannot see a future in the name of the physical and psychological well-being of humanity.

We ourselves have annihilated it in a brutal and sudden way, within a few decades we have changed the fortunes of our planet.

I try to paint joy and serenity to exorcise my fears, but I realize that it can serve little purpose.
In my little one I try to communicate my dreams, my castles in the air to the young people, my students and my children.

I can't be honest with them, I don't discover my ailments and my deep concerns about their fucking, disastrous future.
Sometimes I transposed my anxieties into sweet and soft thoughts, pictorially represented.

I try to do my part at school.

In my lectures, I put love for Nature first, I try to make people understand the damage we are causing to the Earth and to ourselves.
With my science colleague, we carry out projects on environmental support and education.
Miserably useless.

But everything is too little!
It's not like that!

In the soon future, darn shortened by mathematical models, we risk losing our dreams too.
We build our castles, in the air, on the seashore, in our minds, but we will not be there.

We burn our hopes in gloomy flashes, burn the flesh of trees, burn our stone altars erected to gods that no longer belong to us.

We human beings, godless cursed beings.

Costruendo castelli

Costruiamo i nostri castelli di sabbia.

Le aspirazioni gli ideali, le aspettative rientrano tutte nella nostra sfera mentale, sono parte importante della nostra personalità.

Una donna può desiderare una maternità, così come un uomo.
Avere un figlio su cui riporre amore, speranze e aspettative.
Costruire insieme un futuro, fatto di cose concrete ma anche di sogni.

Ma quale fottuto futuro?

Qual'è il futuro che ci aspetta?

Personalmente sono molto pessimista, siamo sempre più soggetti ai disastri dolosi e ai cambiamenti climatici.
Non riesco a vedere un futuro all'insegna del benessere fisico e psicologico dell'umanità.

Noi stessi lo abbiamo annientato in modo brutale e repentino, nel giro di pochi decenni abbiamo cambiato le sorti del nostro pianeta.

Cerco di dipingere gioia e serenità per esorcizzare le mie paure, ma mi rendo conto che possa servire a poco.

Nel mio piccolo cerco di comunicare i miei sogni, i miei castelli in aria ai giovani, ai miei studenti ed ai miei figli.

Non riesco a essere sincero con loro, non scopro i miei malanni e le mie profonde preoccupazioni verso il loro fottuto e disastroso futuro.

Qualche volta tramuto le mie inquietudini in dolci e morbidi pensieri, rappresentati pittoricamente.

A scuola cerco di fare la mia parte.

Nelle mie lezioni antepongo al primo posto l'amore per la Natura, cerco di far comprendere quali sono i danni che stiamo causando alla Terra e a noi stessi.

Con il mio collega di scienze portiamo avanti progetti sulla sotenibilità e sull'educazione ambientale.
Miseramente inutili.

Ma tutto è troppo poco!
Non è così!
In un futuro prossimo, maledettamente accorciato dai modelli matematici rischiamo di perdere anche i nostri sogni.

Costruiamo i nostri castelli, in aria, sulla riva del mare, nella nostra mente, ma noi non ci saremo.

Bruciamo in cupe vampe le nostre speranze, brucia la carne degli alberi, ardono i nostri altari di pietra eretti a dei che non ci appartengono più.

Ci hanno lasciati, hanno cancellato il nostro buon senso.

Noi esseri umani, esseri maledetti senza dio.

Un abbraccio senza sogni.
