Landscape of Florence.
Hello to all dear friends Steemians.
Do you remember the postcards?
Until a few years ago they were very used.
On our trips when visiting a beautiful place or a city, we often bought postcards to send to our friends.
Other times we kept the postcards as a reminder of the trip.
Except for a few rare phenomena such as @steemitri who still sends his postcards today.
By the way there are ancient postcards from the late 1700s and 1800s that are worth several tens of thousands of euros.
The first postcards illustrated by post dates back to the late 1700s and are presumed to have been invented by a German lithographer called Miesler.
Today, postcards are replaced by selfies, memos or stories on instagram, facebook and other social media.
Today I want to share with you my watercolor fruit of the last trip to Florence.
I painted the characteristic elements of the city cradle of the Italian and European Renaissance.
In the light of sunset I represented the dome of Santa Maria del Fiore, the work of the architect Filippo Brunelleschi, and the Tower of the Palace of the Signoria.
In the distance I painted the famous Ponte Vecchio, on the Arno River.
The palace is also called Palazzo Vecchio, for at least two hundred years it was the residence of the most famous and important family in Europe: the Medici.
Now this building is the seat of the municipal administration of Florence.
It must be nice to go to work in a place like this!

Ciao a tutti cari amici Steemians.
Vi ricordate le cartoline?
Fino a qualche anno fa erano molto usate.
Nei nostri viaggi quando visitavamo un bel luogo o una città, spesso acquistavamo delle cartoline da spedire ai nostri amici.
Altre volte le cartoline le conservavamo come ricordo del viaggio.
Fatta eccezione di qualche raro fenomeno come ad esempio @steemitri che ancora oggi invia le sue cartoline.
A proposito ci sono cartoline postali antiche della fine del 1700 e del 1800 che valgono diverse decine di migliaia di euro.
Le prime cartoline illustrate postali risalgono verso la fine del 1700 e si presume che siano state inventate da un litografo tedesco chiamato Miesler.
Oggi le cartoline sono sostituite dai selfie, dai memo o dalle storie su instagram, facebook e altri social.
Intanto voglio condividere con voi un mio acquarello frutto della ultima gita a Firenze.
Ho dipinto gli elementi caratteristici della città culla del Rinascimento Italiano ed europeo.
Nella luce del tramonto ho rappresentato la cupola di Santa Maria del Fiore, opera dell'architetto fiorentino Filippo Brunelleschi, e la Torre del Palazzo della Signoria.
In lontananza ho dipinto il famoso Ponte Vecchio, sul fiume Arno.
Il palazzo è chiamato anche Palazzo Vecchio, per almeno duecento anni è stato la residenza della famiglia più famosa e importante in Europa. i Medici.
Adesso questo edificio è la sede dell'amministrazione comunale di Firenze.
Deve essere bello andare a lavorare in un posto così!

I would like to send you a postcard :D I think it is such a novel practice that is dying, sending people letters and postcards, aaah... A bit sad, to think about this...
Florence is gorgeous * ___ * I would like to visit it one day, for sure ! But for now, I get to know Florence through video games XD Such as Assassin's Creed! Where I can visit Santa Maria del Fiore and even climb its roofs hahahah~
