What you are talking about is very delicated matter, we are habit to see in fantastic movies the humanoid make the wars, so for me now we arenot too far from the fantasy...:(((
Advanced technologies like AI are rapidly advancing day by day. The problem is that AI can make itself better but it is also a disadvantage. Such beautiful technologies should be used only for human benefit not in defense. Thanks for welcoming me. I am happy to be in the steem-bounty family. I am using this service for the first time. That a great video you got there, nice one. I think AI can only operate well in a few sectors of defense. In a situation that involve exchange of bullets or war AI might not solve the situation. Also, AI might not be able to stop or block nuclear bombs.
It's a complex subject with lots of moving parts. Think of it like nuclear energy. One thing we can be sure of is that it is powerful and with great power comes great responsibility. Out of non-green energy sources, nuclear energy is the best thing we have. But we have also built terrible weapons with it. AI will be used in defense a lot. Personally I see it in a similar light of Nukes being developed as weapons of war. I don;t like it. But it's an inevitability. AI are too powerful to ignore. They can also easily go Chernobyl. So it never hurts to be too safe. with it.
Defense is a very critical sector and advance technologies like AI are getting involved with defense. Do you think it was a safe decision?
