Political Ads. An Opinion.

With the election coming up my mail box is being filled with political ads. Seriously?! The mail lady can't even fit my regular mail in my mailbox because of these ads. Personally, I find this to be disgusting.

Political ads don't just come by mail either. On my home phone I get political calls that I consider to be advertisement. It is annoying. They call at all hours and with a sleeping baby at home it cause stress.

Then you see political signs everywhere along the sides of the road. This destroys the beauty of fall in New England.

Yes people should be able to share their views. Yes people have the right to advertise. But maybe America is going a bit overboard?

Personally, I find political ads (mostly from the mail and phone calls) to be very aggressive. They go against the non-aggression principle. People should be asked if they want to receive political mailings. If they a person does not want political ads do not send them.

At least November 8th is almost here and that means the end to most political ads. In the meanwhile my cat will enjoy peeing and pooing on them in his litter box .

Advertisements are the huge problem. They are far more destructive than any, but the alt-right-wing, tinfoil hat wearing, conspiracy theorist, can think of. Advertisements of today are designed to break people. They destroy their psyche and their self worth.

i.e. You are incomplete, a failure, not up to the challenge, but if you had OUR product, then you might be ok.

This is advertising of today. And, if the people doing it were good people, they would stop. Or, as a great comedian, Bill Hicks says, "Kill yourself".
