#NewSteem ¿Are we already lowering our content quality standards?
Making the whales earn more at the expense of everyone else is not going to make Steem get adopted, it is going to turn it into a graveyard... or at most, a low quality blogging platform.
Since many people we were following are now posting less and less!!

Sheez! Sea mammals. I was just knocking on the door of the curators' club of this place to ask how all this 20-Steem Boundary works. But I've already felt as the curiosity & desire to continue investigating has vanished and it already taken me away to not keep asking. I am fragile! you know?

I will keep a close eye on your bullish Sleeper's Orgasmatron because my curiosity is infinite. And I plan to witness and decipher soon how all this new kinda hidden 'rewards curve' will influence the 'onboarding' campaign and many other goals. 
Yeah! I can see all of you gambling inside, thru the tiny windows of your exclusive 'Curators' Club'. Yup, you all betting in there with your best poker faces to overbid your crony' bets. Yes I know. "Dogs doesn't eat dogs"
Since friday night until now, I went out there, around this place, armed with my best 'clicking' weapon and shoot some shots in the inhospitable sylvan New-Hot-Trending wilderness tabs looking for new preys in which discharge all the fury of my mostly random 'curation' bullets.
But unfortunately, I didn't find anything to aim for and not even found anything worthwhile to shoot, make they stand still in the spot & then waste my time trying to skin them later.
Therefore, I had no choice but to go back, one more time, to the backyard of my own 'Feed Page' in search of a more nutritious piece in which try to sharpen my aim and to shoot at. And even when I could find something at least worth to shoot at. In the "content quality standards" department, I found out that the music in the background was sounding a bit haunting.

I've like the feeling that most of this new steem is like shooting oneself in the foot... People feel like they need to give away their free downvotes. It's a bit difficult at times to find something deserving so let's just downvote something that is not good enough in our eyes.... I just made the experience with @ help.venezuela. 90 upvotes killed by 1 downvote from somebody who thought it was his task to judge everything that he doesn't understand.... Best is to stop writing so as not to get into the net of the over zeelous whales...

Ah! don't worry my dear friend. If they continue in that hasty conduct of judging 'quality' things blindly as they have already been doing it. Sooner rather than later they will realize that they have nothing left but pure shit to 'curate'.
I'm very glad you still find my texts refreshing. In spite of all the dense molasses with which I usually sweeten them. };)

I gotta admit I do not go into the wilderness nearly as often as I should. I am such a bad steemian I don't even flag. I can't flag if I don't read anything... I have quite a few auto votes going out so vp being high is not really an issue but I do like to find someone new once in a bit but random curation is not within my vote value, it is nice to over time have given someone votes that equate to something , you know make the fuck breakfast before I dissapear. Dunno that just kinda how I do it. With tipu I can feel a bit better about just dropping in once in a blue moon though. As for the curve, it feels like you are either a star or the one sucking off the stars. So very realistic. !tipuvote 1

There is a ton of poisonous snakes, ugly spiders and plenty scorpions swimming on this pond waiting for you to tame them with your sweet 'curation' vote. Most of them dreaming to form part of your auto votes list and your never well enough valued tips from @tipu.
No problem. Right now I'm going to make sure that at least 4 times a week, there is always a blue moon available in the sky to wake up your lycanthropy instincts and watch your metamorphosis more often. I can vouch tipu's votes feel highly vigorizing. :)
Not in vain it's told that all these 'stars' use to shine in just the "Milky Way" in one way or another. Until these 'stars' realize that they are only living in a very tiny speck floating in space within the bigger vast realms of a clusterfuck named Laniakea.

I was actually looking for curation trails to follow now that vote selling is dead and we need to actively curate! I always sold it my VP was above 98% so I don’t waste VP each day and I can still manually curate
What I have found is a lot of content I wouldn’t upvote but it’s like the best of the bunch kinda thing and lots of people are just upvoting popular steemians to bank on the curation rewards so it compounds with those who are already popular have have stake
They’ve forked steem into a whale decision maker system so they need to start setting the example and vote and flag they wanted all the power so they must use it! If they don’t start finding people who are worth building into the minnow, dolphin and orca middle class then who will?

Nice to see you here for the first time commenting on one of my posts mate. Yeah, I understand pretty well what you say. And I have to confess that I never followed any curation trail or voting guild in my more than three years here. Well yeah, I tested them a couple of times as a simple experiment just to know how they worked. But nonetheless, I've always preferred to feed my brain first more than my wallet. So, "AI blind curation' has proved to be too weak to provide me a strong and lasting boner. Manually, yeah manually seems healthier, less risky of contracting STDs/STIs & more effective to fulfill 'curation' fantasies with better multiorgasmic rewards.

Yes, but never tell them that you first also have to go out to find green grass and cut hay to feed them well so that they continue producing milk which they can milk later.
Whales are giant mammals way too heavy and clumsy as to swim around the shores, in the coasts and in shallow waters. They would perish from starvation unless the pauper plankton and shoals of poor small fishes did not dare to swim in deep waters on their way to reach 'middle class status' in which they are risking being eaten in just one big bite by them.
Soon it remains to be seen with what the fuck they are gonna feed themselves, if from now on are gonna be them the ones who won't want to risk being stranded on the beaches looking for their easy food when the little fishes will start to refuse to swim in deeper waters.

It is never too late when bliss is good mate. Replicate successes will be always the climax of healthy heresy endeavors. Never hard-pressed to accomplish our humble goals. The path to create consciousness will indefectibly require a great dosage of patience and a zen mindset.
