UNICEF "Children's rights campaigner" - Is Jailed For Rape of Boy, 13. Why It's Tough To Find An Honest Charity & What We Can Do To Help Fix This.
It is a sad indictment on society indeed when we cannot even rely on just about ANY of the people who claim to be helping others 'officially' to be truly doing that. I realised a decade ago that the majority of large scale charities are at best scams and at worse covers for serious crime of all kinds. Today we hear about yet another 'high ranking' individual caught and prosecuted for Child abuse - this time while claiming to be protecting children.
Numerous news sites have reported of the case of Peter Newell, who has been jailed for 6 years and 8 months for the crime of raping a child. His role in UNICEF included working on their 'Handbook for the Convention on the Rights of the Child' - yet it appears that behind the scenes he was living a life of massive denial. As usual I will add here that falsely accusing people of child abuse is a favored weapon in politics since it is an accusation that is hard to disprove or shake off and turns entire societies against people. That said, in this case he plead guilty and so either he was being seriously threatened/blackmailed for some reason or he is genuinely guilty.
It would not be hard to accept his guilt, considering the record that major charities have when it comes to honesty/integrity and actually doing what they claim to be doing. I am regularly stopped in streets by people 'campaigning' to 'fight cancer' etc. and I often spend 30 minutes with them explaining why their charity is a scam, that chemotherapy is a failed, costly killer that is already statistically proven to be worse than placebo at fixing the effects of cancer and generally inform them that they are hurting humanity and not helping. Some already understand what I am saying and have no rebuttal and yet carry on regardless! In one case they were promoting the idea of having BBQs for CANCER! Given that carbonised/burnt meat is a known carcinogen and meat itself is often identified as a carcinogen too - yet fruits and vegetables are known to help healing of cancer and generally aren't part of a BBQ - I can only conclude that someone is 'having a laugh' while they attempt to depopulate the planet by tricking people into killing themselves in the name of 'finding a cure for cancer' (that's 'just around the corner - as it has been for decades, according them - despite some clinics having had 80%+ success rates at healing cancer for decades too without needing any more research being done).
Other charities have been caught being involved in large scale abuses of children, even to the point of being involved in largescale human trafficking and child brothels in 'developing nations'. As mentioned in the Daily Mail - "125 British charity workers were accused of sexual abuse in 2017.". I can recall other cases of UNICEF being involved with crimes against children in Africa and the following documentary exposes some of how a courageous activist in Africa had to put up with slander and attacks from them and other 'agencies' while attempting to protect his people from an extremely dangerous (and criminal) national policy of administering the wrong vaccines:
I could go on and on about charities and the way that they are typically targeted by psychopaths, just as large corporations and governments are targeted by them. These individuals desire to dominate others and basically destroy anything that involves compassion and real love/care - they are 'anti-christs' in the mechanical sense, where 'christ' refers only to being 'heart centered' and 'aligned towards loving intent'. Many have studied the corporate psychopath model and I have experienced it in a few forms in my professional career directly embodied in people, however, it is actually the prevailing model of structure that has shaped the entire corporate model and governance models that we see running the world today. We have essentially inherited a terrible legacy from previous generations of extreme denial and heartlessness combined to create a mix of evil that is claimed to not exist. The denial has reached a point where some could actually watch the most evil acts taking place right in front of them and then act as if it never happened.

Solutions
This is clearly a problem that is not just going to 'go away' - it starts in the heart and must be healed by hearts that are balanced and capable of being clear and honest enough to not skip over details, be distracted or deviate from loving intent. Solving this means changes at all levels in society and radical changes in perception and understanding about who we are and who we are allowing to make key decisions in life. It is not enough to 'bow to voices of authority' with regards understandings of ANYTHING - we ALL have the capacity to advance our understanding of important issues and furthermore, we all have some pieces of the puzzle to add which others do not. The more we pass on responsibility to others, to 'solve the problems for us' - the less chance there is of the problems being solved since not only are there predators all too eager to take our responsibility and power from us, but even in cases where people are genuinely trying to help in their positions in charities and NGOs, there is absolutely no guarantee that they are capable of doing that. When the 'governing bodies' are using corrupt practices, are blackmailed and using bogus 'science' to back up their positions - while many are so dis-empowered as to never even check their claims and just blindly follow along in blind faith, nothing can improve and all are partially responsible for the torment and suffering caused as a result.
Deciding to Take personal responsibility is step 1.
Withdrawing support from those we do not KNOW to be operating within integrity is step 2.
Understanding the challenges is step 3.
Creating solutions that do not allow hierarchic domination and which provide mechanisms for all voices involved to be heard is also a requirement here.
From here on, it is a matter of free will as to where we go with this.
My own first thought is to investigate the possibility of using blockchain technology to give children an uncensored method of reporting abuse against them - however, since computer technology is often controlled and at the very least relies on the mining of minerals in africa that typically involve child, slave labor - this is not optimal either. There is just no way around it, we need personal enlightenment and total human evolution of a kind not recorded in human history. I have been infuriated by charities for a long time now too. What you are referring to is all to common A certain charity I know of set up a shelter for the homeless. Many of these unfortunate people were suffering from drug addiction and the staff that worked in the shelter were found to be selling these addicts, whom they were meant to be helping, hard drugs. Another point I would like to make is that here in Britain in order for an organisation to keep its charitable status it only needs to give 2% of its profits to the cause. This horrified me and became even more poignant when it has been revealed that Haiti only received 2% of the money collected for its appeal from the Clinton Foundation. Couple this with the fact that the British government has stopped it from being possible to make freedom of information requests on charities especially those concerning where the money goes. Corruption abounds especially when you realise that many government officials and heads of corporations are patrons of charities. It really disgusts me. Great post my friend. Peace.
I was not aware of the 2% figure, but that is in line with what I have seen in the real world. When I set up ureka, I considered whether or not to create some kind of 'legal entity' for it and did research into charities, not for profits and social businesses etc. - The very first thing I read about charities was that in Britain, their definition is not primarily about 'giving', 'care' or even 'respect' - but it is that the group comes under the direct control of the 'high court'. This basically makes ALL charities in Britain a controlled arm of the judiciary and government. This goes a long way to explain the problems faced here.
In this light, it makes more sense as to why a charity would employ people selling hard drugs - since the governments are well known to be involved the opium poppy trade and thus heroin, for example, in afghanistan - plus the extremely well detailed involvement in cocaine selling by the US gov.
In short, this is just more evidence (though none is needed) of total government corruption in all possible ways.

Unfortunately, the most vulnerable people are children and people who have serious diseases and need help and charity. For fraud - this is a fertile soil in all countries. Scammers know that society is compassionate towards such people, willing to sacrifice their money to help needy people. But ... the money that kind people give, unfortunately, often goes directly to the pocket of scammers and does not reach disadvantaged people. And to check out scammers for honesty, it can be very difficult. But the worst situation is children's homes. Violence over children flourishes there 100%. In children, the psyche is broken and morality is lost. Many scandalous incidents with children's homes. Few people have been punished. Such problems must be solved at the government level, but apparently, the government does not need these problems: ((
I understand the overall energetic patterns in a holistic way that takes into consideration the awareness that processes take place in life which are much larger than individual lives and yet which do not necessarily require an identifiable 'organisation' in human society for them to be acted out. I am describing something similar to the way that a hive of bees functions collectively, except there is no identifiable hive as the 'bees' are spread out far and wide. There are non physical energetics at play here which are literally the result of an absence of heart presence within the collective and it these play out with some degree of unconscious 'teamwork' such that the targetting of children completes aims which those who do the targetting may be totally unaware of. This is a kind of spiritual conspiracy but it occurs partially unconsciously and it's aim is to neuter and disempower humanity as a whole.
This is the problem - the lack of a kind heart in the collective of society and the presence of indifference and irresponsibility, perhaps at the unconscious level, but this problem will not be solved from this understanding. Fortunately, there are people who are trying to solve this problem and inform society about these terrible inhuman situations. But so far, as you can see, there is little opportunity - the evil is flourishing.
Feathers Tale aka Uchira Childrens fund is run by John St Julien in Tanzania. John has dedicated his life to improving the lives and wellbeing of the community of Uchira near Moshi. He has built homes for families and a village for disabled children who weren’t being cared for. He has sacrificed his health to give these children a better life. There are no CEOs driving BMWs all the money goes to the children, and others in the community. He pays for their medical and schooling expenses. This is the only children’s charity I support as they employ only a local workforce to work in the village, volunteers have to pay their own way.

This is an issue worth our attention.
Your point about good feelings is key here. Just as with addictions to drugs, sex, tv and all else - we are generally actually just trying to feel better. The only charity I have donated to in the last 20 years is the Uchira Children's fund in Tanzania which is run by a British guy who posts videos every day showing what he's been up to and who he is helping.. What he has done is literally miraculous and so actually solving this could be as simple as engaging the groups via social media and not supporting the ones that are clearly corporate inspired rather than heart inspired/inspiring.

The other great thing with video coverage is that we can actually learn about the situation (remotely) first hand. It is still possible to mislead people through video, but it is very difficult and basically pointless to do that and also put out several per week and share your heart with the people - as we will know who is lying.

I am part of this integrity think, I hope it shows in my work.
I have been discussing with some folk in familyprotection about what a committee of investigators would look like, a group of people who trusted each other to get to the bottom of any and every allegation of child abuse they received, and had the ability to hire local private investigators to gather information for publication. I am having trouble finding however people capable or interested in discussing this, I find a lot of what is posted there shallow and unhelpful, but whatever. We'll see.
My blog has a huge amount of information on the problem in Arizona and Lori Handrahan's case, which I think are paradigmatic of the issue at hand. Yesterday I found new reports from arizona of foster kids who had been locked in their room starving regularly for years and it was ignored by the agencies to protect them. Something really stinks with the CPS there. Bad.
At any rate, I also wanted to ask about utopian.io, I'm interested in writing howtos and documentation, but I wonder what projects are looking for that kind of help. Since you have to pick a repo when signing up, I am curious if you knew a good project to start with.

Great, thanks for helping. Yes, the problem is being caused partially by an encoding of allowance for it into the very architecture of government and societal 'norms'. This is not a random occurrence or mere 'chance' - it is heavily co-ordinated and has been planned for a long time. There is also much more to this than mere financial greed or sexual perversion - it goes far deeper, though all these things interconnect.
In Britain, police are given targets to meet and have to complete a lot of paperwork. Cases involving missing children and child abuse typically involve a lot of paperwork and so they, amazingly, often skip them just to 'score more points'! Madness, yes - yet we are dealing with madness and it shows.
I don't know exactly how to find which repos want help with documentation since docs are nearly always totally ignored by developers (Which is a terrible decision, but has become something of a norm unless the project is properly managed). Steem/Steemit is a good example of a project that needs better docs and guides, but they don't even take any notice of issues raised through utopian as far as I am aware.. Last time I checked, there was a not in the repo about how any suggestions from outside Steemit Inc had to be mailed directly to sneak - bypassing the entire process of raising issues in github (and uninspiring many coders from wanting to help, no doubt).
I might have a project coming up that you could help with though, which is steem based - do you have any examples of technical writing or guides you've already written for apps etc?

Regarding the other topic, the numbers/stats excuse of protection services is used heavily in Arizona, rather than speak of any particular case, ie why some child was put with people who weren't properly investigated, they shift the discussion to how behind they are do to 'case load' and then shuffle the organization, no one gets investigated or fired or charged with negligence, then it all starts happening again.

I have 100 questions about how this could ever happen and none of the reporters in Arizona ask any of them. I also have a list of names and other organizations who I already suspect of being foul. If people like this got away with it, then there must be a lot more of this going on, and worse. (I said the same thing about cases I was researching last summer, and in that sense, this proves that at that time I was right about this case, so my research in AZ is now predictive)
I see it in my personal life as well. Often the people that advocate for this or that: Religious figures, Charity leaders are the very people who should not be doing any of the things they are allegedly doing.

I agree - but typically when this occurs they rally their 'faithful' (aka brainwashed) following to attack the one doing the calling out. I'm not a jesus scholar by any means but I'm pretty sure he's a good example of that!
This article calls to mind in the US a plea that I saw circulated about protecting the Johnson amendment recently, which I very much want to see stay, but it was all phrased to warn of the other parties' extreme charities....this is not a partisan issue. Charities are ways to funnel money around paying the taxes, making it even more difficult for people to fund their own lives and voluntary causes that they see fit.
The hands-off approach that many people have about looking into the people they give their power to is absolutely detrimental in people's ability to see that society is capable of impacting what we accept, once we see the locus of power within us and not some mystic, pre-planned "destiny". some years ago, a friend found out that boys in a home in his neighborhood was abused. He took the necessary steps and informed authorities. since the alleged abuser was rich and powerful, it took some time to inform the board of trustees. He wasn't sure who to trust.
In the end, some changes were made, but the abuser wasn't charged nor punished.
In lots of other home, food contributions for children were sold. Lots of abuse. Blockchain can't solve these types of issue.
People who donate, don't normally check the background or accounts, which is part of the problems. Another is the trustee don't do their job, to have regulars audits. If the charity is defensive and don't have proper records, it is already a red flag, and donation must stop.
There are millions in this world who have lost their humanity , i guess 90% of humans are among them ...in my opinion before a person donates he should check out about the charity agency .....they are like wolfs wearing innocent faces....
The situation is both complicated and dire - but those with heart presence have a window now to turn things around towards love and enlightenment. I urge all to read these books.
Sure will read one among them...but the problem resides no matter how much you try....there are good and bad people but it is unfortunate bad people are like everywhere you see...
I recommend the blue book 'healing and evolving the emotional body' - it is the start of the main series. The author says she received these books from god in the first person. I did not really accept god existed when I started reading them, but so far I have used their message to heal myself and help others - I am not able to disprove them!
