The Daily Dood for 1-30-18

Today's bitcoin low was about $9,760 USD on BitFinex

Analysis is strictly my opinion and not meant as financial advice.

The one day chart above shows how we've broken well below that $10,787 USD support line that I've talked about for the last few days. Currently at around $9,873 USD if we fall below the current low we could find the next level of support around $8,200 USD.

I think today's chart deserves more fundamental analysis than technical analysis. It was the perfect day of market uncertainty and felt in both the bitcoin and altcoin markets. News was released that the CFTC had subpoenaed Bitfinex and Tether furthering many peoples doubts that something isn't right with both the exchange and token. If that wasn't enough to cause market uncertainty South Korea announced new rules to deal with cryptocurrency. Both announcements today fueled trader uncertainty in an already bearish market driving the price of both bitcoin and many altcoins down further. While many panic sold on the news, others took this opportunity to buy what many felt were cheap, undervalued coins based on the days news.

The Crypto Top 11

As you can see in the image below, nobody in the top 11 was spared from today's market uncertainty.
