This Week in the Sndbox
Welcome to the 41st State of the Sndbox newsletter! This past week, our team has been busy behind the scenes building out thecreativecrypto.com website, program planning for Cohort 2 of the Sndbox incubator and having fun with all things artistic on the blockchain. We launched our Steem Art & Design Challenge on Friday and announced the Cardano art winners last week. The final cut of "Explaining the Blockchain to your Grandma" was published via @creativecrypto with a peek into the next episode of Blockchain and Bourbon. On Monday, we shared project updates from impactful Steem-powered initiatives wrapping up within the incubator. And through The Creative Crypto, we talked about Whitepaper Projections and how we can educate and prepare blockchain users for a decentralized future.
For a more thorough breakdown of what our members have been up to, be sure to go through our weekly Sndbox Selections of the Week and Project Updates that we publish each Monday.
Blockchain & Bourbon Weekly
Blockchain and Bourbon is a weekly webisode hosted by The Creative Crypto Magazine streamed LIVE on multiple social media apps such as Rize and Facebook.
Last week's episode of Blockchain and Bourbon - Explaning the Blockchain to your Grandma has been released on dlive.
Covering the analogies of blockchain and crypto, this episode dives into methods we Steemians use in explaining this innovative platform and technology to others. The discussion primarily revolves around Steem as we delved into how Steemit and d.tube / d.live are precedents we can point to when we find ourselves in controversial discussions of the Facebook and Youtube monetization fiasco.

Cardano Logo Art Winners
It was quite a challenge deciding the winners among 100+ incredible logo art entries! The support has been amazing and a BIG THANKS to all who got inspired to visualize the Cardano logo through the lens of a famous artist or style. @dalebor enamored us with Crypto Gardens and won the top spot.
See the full post here and see who of the 100 entries stood out. @bulent1976's Lazer Bomb had the workings of a space themed battle that roused the gamer in all of us. @stashin's Aerial showed us an unexplored planet, C4R:D4N0. @mbell's Orphistic Composition transcends time. @ryh0505's Fireworks entry was exploding with handmade creativity.
The entries by @olia1, @katalinaooma, @karenthfer and @jeeuuzz were hard to miss as they are the honorable mentions, see the entries in the full post here.

Whitepaper Projections on @creativecrypto
The @creativecrypto's core principle is to make the blockchain accessible for artist and entrepreneurs in the real world. Our team recently announced that we will be selecting whitepapers and digging into them as we analyse a series of pros, cons and future uses relayed in this post. Selected whitepapers will be those that strive to disrupt current creative and entrepreneurial sectors with the focus on the influence and transformation decentralized technologies can offer the world as we know it.
