Echoes of JFK's warning about "Secret Societies" and the FBI's missing "text messages"
On April 27, 1961, President Kennedy spoke to a gathering of the Newspaper Publishers Association at the Waldorf Hotel. His haunting message about the dangers of "secret societies" and their inherent threat to democracy ring true to this day.
In light of the controversy over the text messages between two FBI officials (Strzok and Page), the alleged "missing" text messages covering a period of several months, and Senator Johnson's statement about an informant who alleged a "group with the FBI was holding secret off-site meetings" following the election of President Trump, it seems that American history continues to rhyme (in the words of Mark Twain).
