It's been a busy day, finally found a spot for the 10 gallon after moving some furniture around, filled it with water, and cut the mesh cover to allow for room for the filter hoses.This will allow for the lid to fit snugly on top of the aquarium without any significant gaps. In order to ensure that the froglets wont be able to injure themselves by hitting the cover, I've bent flat any pointed bits, placed electrical tap around the edges and used cardboard to cover any remaining holes. Overall, I'd say that, despite the rough cuts, this was better thought out than the cuts on the main tank's cover, which is already beginning to rust due to my forgetting to cover the newly exposed metal bits with tape.

I decided to test the Seachem Replenish anyway after filling up the tank. Based on a recommendation received, I poured two capfuls (5 ml each, for a total of 10 ml) into the water. I'll measure the water hardness tomorrow to try and gauge if it was an appropriate amount before transferring the froglets into their new home, at least until half of the tadpoles are out of the twenty gallon aquarium. Currently, there are 10 froglets in the holding tank, with two more to be moved tomorrow (or the next day at the latest), and 70 other tadpoles are still in the 20 gallon tank as well.

During today's water change, I noticed that there was still tadpole food laying on the bottom of the tank. I might have to try changing from a 10 - 10 ml schedule to a 7 - 7 - 7 ml schedule in order to give the tadpoles the right amount of food now that there are 10 less in the tank and many have developed bast the hind leg stage and are ready the star on growing their arms.
