Day 62

Stranglelove is growing bigger than Squiggly now that Stranglove is able to swim normally, while Squiggly is still a much weaker swimmer due to issues with a bent tail. Both seem to be developing well now and given that Squiggly's tail issue is far from the main body, I'm there's a decent chance of a normal pair of legs.

I had to take out the suction cup leaf due to its refusal to stay on the side of the holding tank. I'll be moving it back to the main tank tomorrow. I added two more froglets the holding tank, that brings the total now up to ten. Five more will be on the way in the next few days.By that point, I'll have the 10 gallon aquarium set up with the filter to place them into.

I'm still trying to figure out where exactly to put the 10 gallon, have a tentative location next to the 20 but it's an awkward fit no matter where I put it. The goal is to avoid any over hang while still being close enough to the 20 gallon that I can use the same lamp as a light source for taking photographs. Tomorrow, I'll be cleaning out the main filter and will transfer some of the older media to the new tank to prevent a long cycling process.

I was finally able to receive word from the wholesaler today, he wants the frogs to be bigger before he takes them. That mean I may have to hold onto these little one for potentially months to come, not something I had planned on but it is something I planned to deal with just in case. Once there;s only 30 tadpoles left, I'll transfer them to the 10 gallon and move the froglets to the 20 gallon along with the filter.
