The Common Pillbug (Armadillidium vulgare)
This is the Common Pillbug, Armadillidium vulgare. It's a European species that has been introduced here in Australia. This one was was found wandering around in my garage so I took a few shots before moving it out to the garden. They generally only feed on dead organic matter, although, if you have them in high numbers, they can sometimes damage your seedlings.
