We're going to try making golden paste
Just browsing through my feed, I came across a post that got my attention. It was The Power of Golden Paste. Being a fan of golden milk, made from basically the same main ingredients:
- Tumeric
- Black Pepper
I was intrigued to find out more, not that I drink a lot of golden milk but I like it, it's a tasty treat and very benificial in terms of natural medicine.
If you find yourself drinking golden milk often, it may be helpful to make a batch of paste. Taking turmeric daily in this paste is designed to improve absorption and an easy way to benefits from turmerics incredible healing properties. source: How to Mame Golden Milk
@NamasteThis writes about healing her beautiful dog from arthritis using Tumeric Paste and seeing results in the first couple of weeks!!! It's really amazing to me and I want to try it on our own dog who is getting old and... myself for my creaky elbows and knees (I'm too young to feel kike this!)
We'll see how it turns out... as I'm writing this, I realize I cut the recipe down to a third of the ingredients because we didn't have quite enough tumeric for the 3 cups it asked for and I forgot to apply the same ratio to the water needed in this recipe! Oh well...
I want to thank @Namastethis for sending out this idea into the steemiverse. I will eventially make a post of my progress... By the way, how is your dog doing these days?

This post is a little too late for our dog... He had really bad hips and I'm sure this would have made his last few years more comfortable.
So sorry to hear that. Poor thing. I'm sure he is resting peacefully now.

Be ot golden milk or golden paste. Turmeric have great medicinal benefits. Even scientist have doscovered the natural benefits from it. From one of the spices of Indian kitchen to a boon in medicinal world turmeric is a magic in itself

We may have to watch for an over cultivation of it, I mean big prpducers growing with all the chemicals we don't want (which may already be like..I don't know). I started to plant some rhyzomes... we'll see what happens!
Hey @senorcoconut! Fantastic to see you making the paste! I'm sure you're going to see great results with your dog! I've never tried the golden milk but I've known about its properties for a while... kinda ironic that we do everything for our dogs and then put ourselves second. Really looking forward to hearing the updates on how it's helping you and thanks so much for the mentions! :) xx
Oh and you're welcone for the mention, I wouldn't have done without. Thank you for the introduction to golden paste. For a golden milk usong the paste, I just warmed up a little milk with ginger powder, nutmeg and honey, then I added the paste at the end. It was pretty delicious!
