"From The Vault"

Back again with another one! I've decided to continue to go in sequence from the beats on the cassette and to not skip any of them (which means more posts are coming). A total of 23 beats are on this tape and J-Funk is probably not the illest of them all but it's an uncovering of my personal musical history and has to be put on the blockchain for future documentation.

If you're looking to do the same for some of your own cassettes you can use this pretty good and cheap tool from ION, which looks just like a Walkman. The Tape Express does the job nicely!

Notes: A little less funky and a bit more jazzy, I should have named this one Jazzy J instead of J-Funk. Lots of strange samples mashed up over another solid drum loop.
