"From The Vault" #3 - Kurup Vocab [A Collection of Beats from Summer 1995]
Kicking off with a crazy operatic sample, Kurup Vocab is one of those beats I really enjoy listening to. Crafted in 1994 and played to cassette live in 1995 it's the 3rd one to be released on "From The Vault" using blockchain music platform Choon
A lot of producers back in the 90's used the Roland W30 (same one I used to make these beats) including Liam Howlett of The Prodigy. We found ways around the short and often inadequate sample time by using certain techniques I might describe in a future post.

Track #3 - "Kurup Vocab"
Produced by - Vandal
Year - 1994
Notes: This track contains a bunch of different loops, the bass line and drums are the foundation but there's something about that vocal sample and the opera bit that provides that unmistakable vibe
