⚠️ Warning - This post contains explicit content

Continuing on with my underground hip hop series we will be looking at another hip hop group from Australia,
in this next part in this series I would like to introduce another one of my favorite Australian hip hop groups Bliss n Eso.

☠️ Bliss n Eso ☠️

I have been a long time fan of Bliss n Eso, they are another Aussie group who have come a long way and it's quite amazing to think about where they started off and where they are now.
Bliss n Eso are a group of three Aussie hip hop artists who are coming out of Sydney Australia. There is MC Bliss, MC Eso and DJ Izm who make up the trio.

I remember the first time I heard Bliss n Eso was through a friends car stereo while we were doing a espy cruise and I fell in love with their music.
Pretty much any underground Aussie hip hop I listened to I loved but Bliss n Eso were one of those groups that really grabbed my attention.
Their first EP The Arrival was real raw underground hip hop which is probably not for every one, but I enjoy a few of the tracks on there.
Then they released Flowers in the Pavement which is regarded as their best album ever and I sure think it was. It was full of dope tracks and must have been played well over a couple of thousand times by me.

Bliss n Eso have become somewhat of a household name over the years but it wasn't always this way.
Let's have a look at a few of my favorite tracks.

☠️ Watchdog Water Dragons ☠️

This is probably my most favorite track of theirs and you guessed it, it's from Flowers in the Pavement.
I love the way they have done this track, and saying Bliss n Eso are trippers is an understatement. I guess that's one of the things I like the most about their rhymes is they are a bit out there.

It has a lot of references to things us Aussies can relate to also.
The song is that raw under ground hip hop which has been made purely for the love of the art and not for any commercial reasons.

☠️ Hip Hop Blues ☠️

Here is another one of my favorite tracks by Bliss n Eso from Flowers in the Pavement.
This is just a bomb track and I really love the flow and lyrics to this track, which is backed by a banging beat.
It also makes me laugh the way they do their funny voices in some tracks like this one.

The lyrics are highly intelligent when you listen to what they are saying.
They talk about how they hate fake commercial hip hop and do it for the love of the art, where you don't really make much from your music because the Australian hip hop audience is not that big compared to American hip hop.
This is why I love track like this though, as it's raw and made for their own enjoyment and it's not aiming to please others.

☠️ Headless Princess ☠️

Gee it's really tough to pick a favorite track from Flowers in the Pavement. There are so many great tracks from this album so I highly recommend you to listen to the whole album.
I really love the raw underground nature of this track, coupled with that out there trippy nature of Bliss n Eso.

The way Bliss and Eso flow on this track sounds amazing.
Lol I still haven't worked out what the heck they are rhyming about with this track, but I'm pretty sure it's about staying true to the underground and not getting burnt by commercialism.
There are so many good tracks on their album Flowers in the Pavement, so I'm goign to move on and let you discover them for yourself.

☠️ Destiny Lane ☠️

Now another one of the albums Bliss n Eso brought out is Flying Colours.
I really love this album, their lyrics are amazing and it's full of fantastic track. Destiny Lane is another one of my favorite tracks.
It's full of out there lyrics with which only Bliss n Eso can bring to a track.
I really love this verse:
"I've been serving gems, with a thin swerving pen
transcribe the world I see through a Tim Burton lens"
Only Bliss n Eso would come out with something like this :D

☠️ Eye of the Storm ☠️

Here is another fantastic track I love from their album Flying Colours.
This track has a real feel good feeling to it, and it always puts me is a good mood when I listen to it.

In this track they are rhyming about all of the things which they enjoy about living in this world.
This track always makes me feel good and reminds me of all of the things I enjoy.
This album is amazing to so I encourage you to check out their music :)
