Little Kobold on the dance floor
Hello dear Steemians... here I'm back again ...^_^...
Finally I could collect a bit of energy again and found the chance to post something here after recovering from jetlag.
I and my husband have just brought our little angel to Asia to get to know her maternal family in Java "live"... I mean, no longer just through a video call anymore.
At first I was quite worried if she could withstand the enviromental shock and the hard trip since my family lives far away from everywhere. One can't just fly there nor take the train. To be able to reach my parents home, we need to first fly to Jakarta and then continue flying to Semarang (the capital city of Central Java province) for roughly 1 hour and then 3-4 hours drive to my hometown.
At my last trip alone to visit my parent 3 years ago I took the train from Jakarta, but it took 10 hours plus roughly 3-4 minutes drive by car from the nearest train station to my home, so... its not more convenient anyway, especially since all the train to my hometown arrive between 2 to 3:30 am.
To reach Frankfurt airport alone it took nearly 3 hours by train and for international flight you need to be at the airport at least 2 hours prior to take off. Depends on the airlines you take and the stopover time, you might need between 16,5 up to 22 hours before you arrive at Jakarta airport.
So you can imagine how hard it is for a little baby like her if even for adults it's exhausting enough.
At the arrival hall in Semarang, she lied on the floor as soon as I let her down and then run around happily.
You can watch her picture doing that here!
My baby suffered always a little trauma after each long trips by car and got nervous then burst into tears straight away for the first two short trips with taxi during the short stay in each cities. I always felt bad for her, but unfortunately we don't have much choice.
The streets in Asia just don't allow us to walk on foot safely. Neither in Indonesia nor in Phuket, Thailand were we able to go on foot without worries. It's not only about the heat, but more because there is no real sidewalk for the pedestrian, and if you have one... it would be occupied by the street vendors here and there, so that one must take a dangerous step on the street so often if we'd go on foot.
I'm not happy to give my baby that experience actually, so we tried to avoid it as far as we could, although it's not always possible.
I noticed that our Little Kobold's fitness has indeed been reduced by a lot only after less than a month in Asia.
Before she could walk by her self for at least 1 Km distance without any complaint, but after our vacation she would stop and lie on the sidewalk only after 200 meter distance then try to climb on her buggy if we take one with us for a stroll.
Yeah... no wonder, for the last few weeks she was always either being carried (when we go on foot) or driven by car/taxi.
She has too little opportunities to use her own feet there.
Fortunately it doesnt take long until she get accustomed again to use her feet after we're back in Germany. :-)
Slowly she will be fit again. ^^
However...despite all that, it was nice alltogether especially because we have met our family members and our new friends from steemit. ^^
Enough with the ramblings... now I would just show you how fond our little princess of music.
Our Little Kobold just can't resist the temptation of any good music.
She would just move her body following the beat no matter where she is. :-D
This video was taken in a seafood restaurant in Phuket. T
he food and atmosphere in this restaurant was great so that we came twice there to enjoy our dinner. This restaurant has apparently good collection of CD's.
My baby enjoyed her time dancing there without anyone feeling disturbed at all, something that might be a a rarity in German restaurants. People in Asia generally loves children, that's why children friendly restaurants with
children friendly owners as well as waitress are plenty there.
The bartender had even given her a fruit as a gift after dancing, so it seems that little Kobold just got her first earning in life through her talent LOL.
This is the video, I hope you like it:

She's so adorable, a dancer or a musician at heart for sure. ;)
At least, it does seem that way at the moment. :-D
I will definitely send her to a music club for toddler, I'm sure she would always have fun there.
What a great dancer your little princess is :)
Thanks alot for sharing this with us, it was a pleasure to watch
I hope you had a nice time visiting your family!
Kind regards
Jan
Thank you @jedigeiss.
We had indeed a great time despite all the complaint about the environment and traffic. ^_^
Have a nice weekend.
Haha, very funny watching her. Now I know why women in general are far ahead from men in terms of dancing skills :-) They begin practising at a very very early stage! :-) And the drink seems to be very delicious.
Hahahahaha do you think so?!
Btw the drink was indeed very fresh and delicious. And Jana had always got her own big portion, otherwise she would have drank all my drink till the last drop. She had even managed to finish the whole juice of a big coconut :-D.
First of all, I was very happy to see you all in Bangkok.
Secondly, I felt sorry to hear that your little princess had a little trauma and got nervous and burst into tears during your trip by car and taxi.
I’m glad to see her in your video and I enjoyed watching her cheerful dance from the beginning till the end.
Ah! Little cute dancer with cheerful dancing. I also love the way she moved her head while drinking fresh passion fruit juice, it seems that she very much enjoyed the music.
Great talent! She deserved for the gift! Yeah! Your little princess got her first earning in life through her talent, as you said, indeed. I think, her love in music and dancing came directly from you. ;)
It seems so... She got addicted to fresh coconut water too hahaha.
We were glad to meet all of you as well, and she loves her kitty doll, thank you 😍.
Hopefully we could meet again someday... Let's hope that steem price rises again soon.
Oh! I’m really happy to hear that she loves her kitty doll. :)))) (Kitty is my favorite, too)
Regarding to the fresh coconut water, it’s great that she "got addicted" to it. It's very good for her health, so you will have to plan to plant the coconut tree in your garden now. Ha ha! ;D
I look forward to welcoming all of you again in Bangkok. Yeah! Let’s hope that steem price rises again very soon. ;)
Oh myyyy just saw this!!! She's so adorable Annaaaa!
Haiiiiii how are youuu. <3
She is indeed cute, but sometimes she makes me want to pinch her cheek... so naughty hahaha.
You know what, I don't know how to spell her name and would love to know so.
Please please make a lot more of this vid!! I would love to see more hahaha super duper cute dance - and glad you're able to upload on DTube now :)

Such a beautiful and lovely girl!! So fun that she lied on the floor as soon as you arrived. Sometimes I would like to have the guts to do the same even if people stare at me!!
Hahaha... I actually felt the same way like you... I wish I had the gut to lie down as well there 😂.
