Happy Musician´s Day
I just wanted to say Happy Musician´s Day to all the Musicians here on steemit
I hope you know that November 22 is acknowledged world wide as Musician´s day
I am also a Musician and I want to Honor my friends and colleagues who day after day play
Some may have economical success, others may not, but I guess we do what we love
I mean we play because we love to play...
But why is this day known as the Musician´s day?
November 22nd is the feast day of St. Cecilia, A Martyr, Musician and the Patroness Saint of Musicians
The first record of a music festival in her honor was held at Évreux in Normandy (now France) in 1570.
Her feast day became an occasion for musical concerts and festivals that occasioned well-known poems and music
These Festivals are still held on our days in her honor.
