Brand Concept: L'anatomie
I co-own and manage two businesses hosting regular music events in the UK, booking internationally recognised artists both independently and in collaboration with record labels, festivals and promoters. One of them (L’anatomie) is a new concept that me and an old friend came up with early last year. It is a music night based in Edinburgh and it focuses on people who have a strong relationship and knowledge about electronic music.
Ultimately, the focus is the music and we wanted to reflect that with our choice of venue. We were able to get a resident’s slot in ‘Sneaky Pete's’, an intimate 120 capacity space set up for the people who are there for the music and not the hype. With that in mind, the branding reflects the minimal elements in the music that L'anatomie focuses on, built on simple concepts with underlying tones of intelligent design. The dots, for example, above the brand highlight the word "name".
For the first season of L'Anatomie Edinburgh's nights, these posters encapsulate the essence of L'Anatomie's culture and audience. Focusing on Electronic house music. We focus on booking artists from labels such as Innervisions, keinenmusik and more tech-house genre artists. It was important that the posters reflect the style and feel the we were trying to create through our events. The series had been developed to include a thick grain overlay and an out of world feeling to each of the designs. This has been portrayed using cell themed imagery.
Between my two brands SLVR and L’anatomie, previous guests have included: La Fleur, Kobosil, Clouds, Marcus Worgull, Nastia, Aera, J. Tijn, Neil Landstrumm, Joe Farr, Ø [Phase], Modini, Camila Costa, Kleber, Brett Gould and Kreature.
Below are selected photos from our first event with Marcus Worgul of Innervisions:

All branding & design we commissioned was completed by Caterina Biachini.

Cool design! :)
This is pretty good.
Did you do it yourself or hired someone?
Unfortunately I can't say I know any of the bands you mentioned but I wish you luck nevertheless to get more awesome bands with great music :).
