Secrets of organ playing contest week 38

Images property of @jeremyowens9501

Our first post for today is from @jeremyowens9501, a man whose expertise is playing the organ. This particular composition sounds extraordinary and for a musically uneducated mortal like myself it looks impossible to play. It definitely requires some really fast fingers, but this author makes it look like a piece of cake.

This is a piece that I have had in my repertoire for a little while: Eugene Gigout's Toccata in B minor of 1890. It isn't the most difficult piece in my repertoire, but it is fun to play. There are lots of figurations and fast fingerwork through out. The pedals add some melodic interest to the piece.

@jeremyowens9501 is a fresh author who joined Steemit only 15 days ago so if you are interested in hearing some more organ compositions go ahead and check out Jeremy's profile.

Chasing Embers - Spiritual [Official Video]

Images property of @chasingembersua

The second post is brought to us by a Ukrainian alternative metal band "Chasing Embers". There isn't much I can do to present this song, instead I'll just allow you to discover it's amazingness on your own, you won't regret it. Here's just a piece of it's lyrics to tickle your imagination:

When the end seems so clear
I walk in the dark with no fear
There I'll be who I wanted to be
To unleash what I hide
Break off the chains in my mind
And to let out this creature I locked up inside - @chasingembersua

Since @chasingembersua has been with us on Steemit for ONLY 2 days, this profile has only 2 posts hanging, so if you end up enjoying this song just go ahead and give Chasing Embers - Silent House (Official music video) a listen as well!

And last but not least, feast your eyes with this insanely gorgeous scenery of Scotland filmed from sky high with a drone. Honestly, this footage created by @haastrecht looks like something straight out of a movie or a video game. In other words it looks so good that it's unreal!

If you're a fan of drone photography as nearly as I am, you can find more amazing work here created by no other than @haastrecht. From Peru and Vietnam to Scotland and Holland this man photographed it all! Truly marvelous!
