Let's just say I'm excited
Today I uploaded my first song to @Musicoin, my recent single "A Lot Right Now". After seeing the success that Steem-based platforms like DTube and DSound have already had, I can only say I can't wait to see what Musicoin does for the music industry as a whole. Imagine if Spotify, iTunes, Pandora etc. were to adopt it? Imagine if entirely new platforms were built for it (or if they just tricked out the one they have a bit more?)

It's really cool what blockchain technology, and the community that's building around it, are doing for music, and the creative field overall. Recently I found out about a really cool thing @heymattsokol is doing, writing a Musician's Guide to Steemit which will also include a substantial amount of info about being a musician on the blockchain in general.

Not sure if you know about it or not but Muse is coming. It is a fork of steem made for the music world. Instead of getting paid for up votes the blockchain will pay artists out based off of streams. It will also be able to integrate with steem apps like Dsound so you get paid in upvotes and streams. Museblockchain.com is the site. The launch should be before the end of the 1st quarter.
also I just checked out the song on musicoin. It is another good jam, you got skills. Lol at the vaporware tag though

Got into Musicoin recently, but Muse sounds great. Going to look into that now!
It still has a little while before launching but it is a very promising project. I'm all for anything to bring in more money for artists.
