10 Fun Facts About Suicide Squad (2016) That You Never Knew About

Hello movie marauders! Suicide Squad was released after Batman v. Superman. It wasn't the best movie, and it got a 25% on Rotten Tomatoes. This group of bad guys made $745 million, and will be getting a sequel in 2019. The best part of this movie was Harley Quinn because her character is likeable and funny. Suicide Squad had so much potential to be an amazing movie. If Wonder Woman hadn't been a huge success, DC would not be looking so good right now. Let's take a look at some fun facts about Suicide Squad!

1. Jared Leto (who plays the Joker) made his laugh by trying out different types in Toronto and New York City to see which made people the most uncomfortable.

2. Most of the crew and cast got the tattoo "SKWAD" to represent the film(Will Smith and Margot Robbie even tattooed some themselves).

3. Will Smith (who plays Deadshot) trained with Army rangers and Navy SEALs to practice shooting a Glock 9mm handgun and an AR-15 rifle (he learned fast with the AR-15 at a long distance).

4. Margot Robbie (who plays Harley Quinn) will be returning in the movie Gotham City Sirens (directed by Suicide Squad's David Ayer/Margot Robbie is a producer for this movie). This movie will focus on the woman of the DC universe (Catwoman and Posion Ivy are expected to be in this film).

5. Jared Leto and Margot Robbie did not rehearse their scenes before shooting because director David Ayer and Margot Robbie thought it added to the unpredictability and madness of the Joker and Harley Quinn.

6. Jared Leto stayed in character as the Joker even when he wasn't filming his scenes. He sent Joker presents to the cast-Margot Robbie, a rat; Will Smith, bullets;  Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (who plays Killer Croc), a soiled Playboy magazine.

7. Jay Hernandez (who plays El Diablo) shaved his eyebrows since his character doesn't have any hair on his body (he saved 30 minutes everyday in makeup from shaving his eyebrows).

8. The teaser trailer for Suicide Squad got more views than both Batman v. Superman trailers within 3 weeks of being released.

9. Cara Delevingne was cast as Enchantress by David Ayer before there was a script. To prepare for her role, he asked her to walk naked in the forest under a full moon in the mud (she did-at her sister's mansion).

10. Suicide Squad is the 4th live-action superhero movie to win an Academy Award (others are Batman-1989/The Dark Knight-2008/Spider-Man 2-2004).
