🎬 Must See Horror Movies - part 14 - The Babadook

We have now come to part 14 of GOOD horror movies that you must see, im writing this so you dont have to look long for finding good ones, and dont have to watch 10 bad to find that 1 good, and sadly we are soon comming to an end, because there are many good ones left to recommend.

In these blogs I write about the GOOD Horror movies that you simply must see if you like to get a little scare.

The recommended one today is: The Babadook

IMDB:
Rates the Babadook 6.8, I myself would like to see it a bit higher taken everything in consideration, like 7.8 perhabs. but the score is also based on only 138.000 and when its a horror movie, well it tends to get 1 star from many of those who just hates everything.

ROTTEN TOMATOES:
Gives Babadook 98% / 72% and this is a very good score taking everything in mind, like low budget and type of movie.

GENRER:
Horror, drama.

RELEASE:
It was released in 2014, the cast in this movie isnt high rated actors, but it is a good middle casting who all has decent experience and has been in some popular films, this also explains the budget on $2,000,000 which is extremely low for a movie theese days.

I would say the Babadook is one of the good horror movies, as it has its spookiness and creepyness as a horror movie should have in my oppinion. The acting is surprisingly good, maybe because I considered it a B movie before watching it, but deffinently convincible I would say. I prefeer horror movies with sinister pressences, which is why this hits a spot on my list of horror movies to watch, you will surely be entertained while watching the babadook, and it is also available on netflix at the moment as well, so should be easy to come by.
One of the things that also makes this movie good, as that there is no need for tons of cgi effects to make this movie uncomfortable, it does it in its own way with the tone set and the actors.

PLOT:
The Babadook is about a single mother and her son Samuel, the mother is single because the husband lost his life in a carcrash. The mother struggles as being the single parrent, as her son constantly fears monsters. They find an odd book called "The Babadook" about a monster hiding in dark areas in houses, as they read they feel more and more effected by the book.

TRAILER:
Well as always the trailer is here to view, but seriously... DONT watch it, it reveals many things about the movie that isnt always good knowing before watching the it, as in spoilers. but it is ofcourse your own choise as always, but I will always recommend NOT watching trailers for horror movies, if its a comedy well...

This is deffinently 1 to watch for the horror genrer.
