Mountain Monday Lives!
...but I may actually be running out of mountains! Can you believe it? You know this calls for a serious road trip, right? Me and Mrs. #MountainMonday are going to need our passports renewed.
The week I'll take you to the Swiftsure International Yacht races. If you like boats, you can ignore the mountains.
On the other hand if you don't care about the boats well check it out... we got some mountains for you!
BOOM! A gun has just fired to start the race - you can see a little smoke on the right hand side.
Above: As the sailboats pull away you can see a small Navy patrol boat which fired the shot.
These are some of the first photos I took with my Tamron 150-600 lens. I remember being a little disappointed when I first saw these shots because they're a little soft - but that's due to shooting across a fair stretch of water and through some moist air.

I sure do love the way you bring out all the alluring beauty of the mountains but the addition of the sailboats is superb and complete the pictures beautifully. (U & R )

Wow! Gorgeous pics of a lovely spot - soft or not. A lot of my accounting career was in maritime fields, so I love to see ships and boats. The mountains really add to this scene.

Hello @gabeboy! I think it was a warm day - there's snow in the distant mountains because they're so tall. I never really thought about that because I'm so used to seeing it, but it does look odd, doesn't it? :)
It's completely unusual for me. :-) I can see snow only during the winter. And that time, definitely nobody is sailing in my country. Okay, maybe ice sailing... :-D
Yes, it's because I live at sea level and that keeps the temperature warm - at least compared to the mountain tops!
