I've always liked these two great pieces of architecture; to the left, the Don Matías building, one of my favorites in town (constructed in 1956), and up close there's Villa Carmen (1920), one of the oldest remaining structures in Maracaibo city.

It's amazing how tall palm trees can get. These are very tall buildings, but those palms are holding their own. I know there's a bit of perspective as well, but still :)
