Week #13. 'Textures.'
The textures:
- Sand stone rocks carved by wind and water into grottos and catacombs.
- Ocean spray. Wild and unrelenting. Soft blue/green/grey tints.
- Early morning haze. Velvet clouds

I love climbing over rocks, and still do it when I return to Scotland, so I know what you mean! I know I must get some strange looks, but I don't care!😃

My eyes are drawn to the light that played with the texture of the rocks. A wonderful shot framed in beauty.

I was on the beach very early in the morning Denise. The shadow play on the rocks was magnificent. Challenging to capture though.
When photographing these rocks, the light was so strong that the entire background was like a white haze. Brought it back with Lightroom and then left some soft blue/green/grey tones. 🦋

Thanks so much Greg. To me the background in this image is not all that typical of the bright aqua ocean of Boomerang Beach ~ But it was interesting to play with these muted tones in black and white. 🦋
