Lions! I Just Went Short The Q's, Here's How To Play It. By Gregory Mannarino
Lions, as you know I have been waiting for the right time to get short QQQ, well this morning I took up a "half" position against the Q's. Specifically November 146 puts.
Despite the fact that the overall market is under pressure right now, and the Dow Jones industrial average down near the triple digits, keep a close eye on this position if you decide to enter it.
I intend to watch my new position closely, and add to the position if it moves in my expected direction.
In the event the trade goes against me, because it took up an initial "half" position, I am risking the minimum well at the same time seeking to maximize my gain by adding to the position if it moves in the expected direction.

Good call for the short term, it appears the Nasdaq is in a massive bull flag on the weekly, and a prototypical bull flag on the daily, both are the top of the range, pulling back. I would expect once this plays out, the Naz will go higher.
Uhhhm, he shorted the gapdown move and entered at almost the low for the Q's. It's only going to 144.75 at most in all likelihood. What is so great about shorting teh low of a gapdwon move pray tell? And did you "finally" trash your "ill-fated" AAPL trading system? That free 30 day trial you did a year or so ago at Utube that only lasted about 3 trading days after you got caught in a crAAPL "gap n crap" on errrnuns news was hilarious. LOL Go ahead and mute me. You don't want Greg's kittens to know "the truth" about your sorry ass.
Interesting, I was thinking QQQs were in a channel. I hadn't looked at the weekly.

I was already short the Q's going into today and I gotta admit, Greg now being short skeeers the shit outta me! :-) I'm sure he took his ass whoopin on his UUP trade. Maybe I'll look to long it now that Greg crapped out. "Anxiously" awaitig teh "proper" buy signal on me GDX short besides. :-)
Whew! That was close! I exited me Q's trade with an 18% three day gain. An 18% gain in 3 days would make Greg WOOHOO like he just discovered a cure for herpes. Q's "shud" trade to 144.75 but of course Greg won't be slick enuff to exit the trade. Now I can concentrate on teh dollah vs the goldies. UUP now at 23.95 and eitehr Greg crapped out "behind the scenes" or he is outright lying to his kittens...again. :-)
Its sort of weird how you call your followers "lions" - its kind of creepy. Are you still suggesting that people should go long options to experience the time decay?
My Lions know exactly how to play it.. Do you?? I told my Lions to go short QQQ at the market open and the ones that did ripped the face off the market today. So my "creepy" Lions (as you said in your comment) made more money than you did today. I know I did.....
