Valentine’s Day with Menē vs. Other designer jewelry.

Lets take a look at how Menē 24k gold jewelry “stacks” up to another potential Valentine’s Day gift.

First lets weigh this silver (note the tarnish-gold does not tarnish) open heart pendant from a brand you recieve in a light blue box:

Since it is getting close to gift giving month, lets be generous and add a chain:

There is a rose 18k gold version of this pendant, which is 75% gold, here:

While we don’t have this pendant in hand to weigh, (and light blue box brand will never tell you the weight) we can make a reasonable assumption that it is close in size to the one that we do have.

Even if the gold version is double the weight, adding in the chain, we would get to 6 grams of 75% diluted gold. Even with this generous estimate you are paying $1,500 USD for this valentines gift.

Let’s compare to Menē 24k gold jewelry.

Here is a nice chunky 24k karat gold heart ring from Menē.

Completely unique design:

This rings weighs in at a WHOPPING 28.64 grams of 100% pure gold for currently $1480 USD.

It’s almost embarrassing for the light blue box.

28.64 beautiful grams of pure gold vs. a pre-enlightened grinch sized heart of non-transparent weighted diluted gold.

Which one shows your Valentine you love them, and you also care about their financial well being?

I know which one I am picking for MY Valentine!

Valentine's Day, now you're talking! What an excellent and timeless gift anything from Mene would make. Resteemed to my 6,400 followers. Make sure you use the goldmatters link:

Wow, this item is unabashedly romantic and the perfect symbol of love.
I found out that the traditional "heart shape" appears on a 1910 St. Valentine's Day card.
The heart has long been used as a symbol to refer to the spiritual, emotional, moral, and in the past also intellectual core of a human being. As the heart was once widely believed to be the seat of the human mind, the word heart continues to be used poetically to refer to the soul, and stylized depictions of hearts are extremely prevalent symbols representing love.

For me, its the best gift we can buy for our loved ones to show you really love them so much.
The design is awesome.

The goodnews is that Mene's design and manufacturing cost is just 20% of the price of the gold while the remaining 80% is for the gold. little compared to the value of the gold.

@goldmatters; I love this shape, haven't seen it before

I cant wait to see it on your finger and in your blog :)

Sure, when i wear it, i will make sure i make a post on it and tag you @goldmatters.

Wow, very good comparison @goldmatters, I really love the way the two different gold hearts have the same shape, but we can clearly see the difference even from their color.
Also, I was wondering, if the two gold hearts have the same shape, how can you know which is pure 24karat gold?
This led me to carryout a research, and I found out two ways to know genuine pure 24 Karat gold.

  • 1 Look For The Hallmark

Nearly all real gold is stamped with a hallmark that notes the karat weight of the jewelry, like 10K or 14K or 24k (like in the case of mene) . This stamp is usually found on the clasp of a necklace or bracelet, or on the inner band of a ring. Since the purity of American-made gold jewelry is measured in karats, there will be a stamp on these pieces with a number followed by the letter "K". The number simply indicates, in parts per 24, how much of the metal is actually gold. For example, a mark of "14K" means that it is 14 karat gold and that 14/24 (just over half) of the metal is gold. By the same token, 24K would be 100% pure gold. If you checked the gold bracelets or rings on https://mene.com, you'll find the hallmark stamp of 24k gold, shoeing the genuine nature of mene.

The European system is a little more straightforward. European gold is marked with the gold content expressed as a decimal: ".585" would be 58.5% pure (incidentally, this is the same as 14 karat gold) and ".999" or "1.000" would be pure gold and thus the same as 24 karat. Nonetheless, if an item of jewelry does not have this stamp - it is not necessarily proof positive that the item is made from fake gold. This is particularly true of older items of jewelry, but yet the stamp is a good step to start.

  • 2 Heaviness Test and Magnetization Test

Drop your gold item into a jug of water. Gold is a heavy metal. Real gold should sink. Any piece of supposed gold jewelry that floats is likely fools’ gold or fake gold.

The magnet test is also a good test to determine if gold is real or fake. If your gold item is attracted to a magnet, it is definitely not real gold. Still, this doesn’t mean that there is no gold in your item, just that it is not made with a substantial amount of gold.

When you carry out all these steps on mene gold jewelry, you'll find them to pass all these test. If you need a trial, just visit my link https://Mene.com/invite/pFa5pC to find out more on the mene website.

Awesome job @goldmatters, am sure getting a lot of advertisement tips on mene gold from these your posts, I'll surely put them into practice. Thanks

Great work @lucyc! I’m glad you like the style of the blogs. Of course I’m just making it up as I go along so it’s great to see a positive response :)

Yah, I noticed that, especially after you posted on goldmatters Jr being jealous of those models, mehn that made me laugh so hard. You made my imagination go really wide to create that fiction in my mind. Awesome.

More to come :)

They used to say diamonds are girls best friend, but now they say Mene gold is a girls best friend! This would be the perfect valentines gift for sure!

Mrs. Sevin Wilson is expecting something, you better deliver!

If I can make it happen this Valentine's Day I will! If not, then next Valentine's Day for sure!

Are you kidding me? This is unbelievable.

I took my time to check the two different jewelries produced by mene and the other company.
I found it difficult to understand that of the other company while when i got to that of mene, i found out that mene simply stated every single detail about the heart ring which includes the price of the ring, the weight, gold value, mene fee while the other company didnt include any of those details except the price.

Talking about the price, despite the qualities of 24k gold heart ring of mene, it is still cheaper than the 18k open heart pendant of the other company.

This is really interesting. @goldmatters; Thanks for informing us on the best gift to offer during valentine.
Nice post, i must commend.

Thank you for highlighting this :) I am not kidding you :)

You are not kidding me... Hahahaha.
I just had to highlight them because, the information was just too important to me and others who will be reading.

@goldmoney; Looking forward to seeing more posts on mene jewelries.
