Cathy O'Brien is a self-described subject of the experimental CIA mind control project, MKUltra.

You can read more about this program at these links.

I've been addressing her claims point by point, researching them, and reporting articles and evidence that supports it where such evidence exists.

I cannot say for certain that everything O'Brien says is correct, but I DO know that MKUltra was a real program where the CIA used psychedelic drugs, hypnosis, torture, and sexual and emotional abuse to unlock what they thought were the secrets of mind control.

The video

This video is Cathy O'Brien's testimony. We left off at 10 min.

  • She elaborates on her views about freedom and mind control. Pretty basic stuff here. She asks what kind of world peace can we have when there is no freedom of expression. This is in reference to her claim that Regan said to Mulroney that the only way to attain world peace was through mind control.

  • By 1988 she claims she has participated in "numerous operations" against her will. She says the things she was forced to do were appalling to her, which is very sad to think about indeed. She's glad people are talking about this topic. Transparency is one of the keys to fighting corruption.

Countries successful at curbing corruption have a long tradition of government openness, freedom of the press, transparency and access to information. Access to information increases the responsiveness of government bodies, while simultaneously having a positive effect on the levels of public participation in a country.

Transparency International Maldives successfully advocated for the adoption of one of the world’s strongest rights to information law by putting pressure on local MPs via a campaign of SMS text messages.

HOW TO STOP CORRUPTION: 5 KEY INGREDIENTS

  • In 1988 she claims someone named "Mark" rescued her daughter and her. By this time both of them had lost the human ability to trust, which seems pretty understandable considering the circumstances. She says that although they didn't have an internally sourced sense of trust, their experience had heightened their senses in other ways, and when they saw "Mark" with his animals and the way that the animals behaved towards him, they realized that he was a good guy. She makes a point here in saying that their expanded senses were similar to animals, and compares this increased perceptive ability to psychic ability, which I think is interesting.

Many cats seem to know, for example, when they are going to the vet’s — hiding away in the hope that their owners might get bored of looking for them and give up on the idea.

More dramatically, some animals seem to sense when their owners have had accidents or have died in distant places — as documented on my database of more than 5,000 case histories involving psychic phenomena in animals.

This includes 177 cases of dogs apparently responding to the death or suffering of their absent masters or mistresses, mostly by howling, whining or whimpering, and 62 accounts of cats showing similar signs of distress.

A Cambridge scientist believes we have only seen the beginning of animals' telepathic powers

  • She adds a personal warning at this point to watch out for people who abuse animals, because they are the kind of people that also abuse children.

Since the 1970"s, research has consistently reported childhood cruelty to animals as the first warning sign of later delinquency, violence, and criminal behavior. In fact, nearly all violent crime perpetrators have a history of animal cruelty in their profiles. Albert deSalvo, the Boston Strangler found guilty of killing 13 women, shot arrows through dogs and cats he trapped as a child. Columbine shooters Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold boasted about mutilating animals for fun.

Children Who are Cruel to Animals: When to Worry

  • In their Alaskan sanctuary with Mark, they began to have flashes of memories of their previous experiences under mind control. This "enraged" O'Brien. She says she would have been lost in that state of anger if Mark had not persuaded her that "the best revenge is recovery". So she focused on recovery and recorded her memories to share with the world and expose her abusers. She says that writing down her experiences accessed a different part of her brain that allowed he to process the experiences more clearly with a logical process rather than emotional.

Dozens of studies have found that most people, from grade-schoolers to nursing-home residents, med students to prisoners, feel happier and healthier after writing about deeply traumatic memories, says James Pennebaker, Ph.D., a professor of psychology at the University of Texas and leader or co-leader of many of the studies.

Pennebaker's interest in the potential of writing therapy was sparked by conversations with government polygraph operators. A criminal's heart rate and breathing, he learned, is much slower immediately after a confession than before. Since then, he's spent much of his career proving that we can all feel better after confronting the past through writing.

The effect isn't just emotional, Pennebaker says. One of his studies, published in the "Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology" in April 1988, found that college students had more active T-lymphocyte cells, an indication of immune system stimulation, six weeks after writing about stressful events. Other studies have found that people tend to take fewer trips to the doctor, function better in day-to-day tasks, and score higher on tests of psychological well being after such writing exercises, he says.

Writing for therapy helps erase effects of trauma

  • O'Brien says that because of the nature of harmonic programming, her daughter needed additional technological support in order to deprogram. She said that Kelly went to a hospital in Anchorage and did not respond to any physical or chemical treatment, but only psychological therapy. She says that the level of programming that they used on her daughter (which had advanced since they programmed Cathy) had affects in the systems that are regulated by the medulla oblongata and pituitary gland, which are the processing centers for our automatic functions such as hormone regulation, heart operation, and respiration. They essentially had the ability to create failsafes in people's minds so that an attempt to deprogram someone would trigger heart or respiratory failure.

I'll stop it there

We are at almost 19 minutes into this testimony now, leaving only a few minutes to review.

But the material has been quite dense so far and I wanted to save some space for me to make a personal record of my thoughts on on this, so I'll save that for the final part 4.

Let me know what you think of this so far in the comments below.

I find the work of Rupert Sheldrake fascinating. His experiments with dogs where they knew the moment their owners decided to set off for home are mirrored in my own home. My dog knows when myself, my wife and my sister in law who is living with us decide to return home. My wife uses the dog to tell her when to begin dinner preparations for the homecomings. Sheldrake's theories on morphic resonance certainly ring true with me.

I've seen some of Sheldrake! Great topic for another post -- thanks for reminding me!

Fascinating article. I know there are agendas in place for modifying and manipulating school children's attitudes, beliefs and behaviors so it is no surprise that other more intense programs have been experimented with on adults. Look forward to more information. Blessings.
