I Shall Designate 100 SP
to Minnow Support Project
This is just a brief service announcement that I shall designate 100 Steem Power to @minnowsupport. In the future, perhaps more!
If you don't know what the Minnow Support Project is, "it's a witness project run by @aggroed, @ausbitbank, @teamsteem, @theprophet0, and @someguy123. The goal is to help Steemit grow by supporting Minnows and creating a social network."
Many thanks to the founders who have spent countless hours on planning and running the project, the moderators in the discord, and all of the minnows trying their hardest to get their steem engines up and running, pursuing those things they are most passionate about! It has improved my early experience on the site in ways that I can't repay! This is just a small token of my appreciation.
If you are a minnow (less than 5000 Steem power) I would highly recommend joining the PALnet (Peace, Abundance, and Liberty) discord and getting registered. All you need is 0.002 STEEM to do so, which many of us would be happy to give to a new user. So don't delay, join the project and improve your Steemit experience greatly! Is PALnet the same as minnow support? I'm not tech savvy so my daughter started me on minnow support via Discord. Wasn't sure if that was the same.

Yep it's the same group! I also helped my mom @violetmed get started there. It's a bit of an odd procedure :)
I appreciate your kind words, because in my self-analysis, I still find intentions in need of purifying as well as unnecessary degrees of selfishness. I suppose it goes with the saying that we are our own worst critics. I keep on working on self-forgiveness as well as increasing my awareness so that I can really be tapped into what is underneath the surface of consciousness!

Thank you for this. I have a discord account, but honesty I have never opened it. I seem to spend my time here on the platform. I keep urging myself to, hopefully I find the time. My real life is neglected too, now that I have been spending so much time here. (So much to do, so little time....!)
Discord or steemit-chat are excellent supplements to the platform since you can direct message people. Also, you can use discord in your browser if you don't want to download the program. I know what you mean about neglecting real life, lol.
Definitely consider joining MSP because you can use an upvote feature every 12 hours that helps get your posts a bit more exposure (Usually around 60 low strength upvotes.) This will usually propel your posts into the "hot" section for a bit.
P.S. Infinite possibilities, seemingly limited time. I concur!

You're welcome! That was a really cool post on treasure hunting. My dad used to use a metal detector whenever we went to the beach. He also used to work for Garrett Metal Detectors and helped program a new model of metal detector. Didn't get the chance to watch your videos yet but I could tell you put a lot of effort into the post and the videos, keep it up!!
I upvoted this with 25%, though I have no clue what 'delegation' means in reference to this platform.
It means to let someone borrow your steem power. You still own it but they get to use it as long as it is delegated. So they will get all the benefits of the upvote strength and the curation rewards.

This morning, when my voting power was 99.52%, I started upvoting everything at 25% or more, and still my voting power is above 94%
I paid for you to borrow 500 Steem Power for 4 weeks a while ago. That's why your wallet says It's a service through @minnowbooster. That's why your wallet says 17.839 STEEM (+535.826 STEEM). The additional power in parentheses is loaned at a rate of 5 STEEM per week times 4 = 20 STEEM.
At your level of SP I would not consider delegating any power to another account. I am doing so because I have 2,500 Steem power from investing in the platform (bought using bitcoin on Bittrex.)
You get 10 votes at 100% per day without draining your power. If you are voting at 25%, that means you need to vote 40 times to achieve the same effect.
I would recommend keeping your voting strength between 70 and 95% for best effect. Lower than that and the amount will be quite lessened, and if it is at 100% you are wasting your power (it's not doing anything in the platform)

There are some small perks of me loaning my power to @minnowsupport, because I should get a low strength upvote from the @msp-lovebot project on all my posts now. However, it has not worked thus far, so it is either not working properly, or there may be a delay of a few days before it recognizes my delegation.
Trust me, I also get perplexed when learning about the mechanics of this platform, lol.

I remember you saying that you had given me something. I had forgotten about it, and I still don't understand, but I think I am beginning to get a glimmer.
How can you see what is in my wallet? I've not tried to look in anyone else' wallet, but then I assumed it was private and only that person could look in their own wallet.
