It means to let someone borrow your steem power. You still own it but they get to use it as long as it is delegated. So they will get all the benefits of the upvote strength and the curation rewards.

Thanks, I guess. That explains the concept, but not how to do that, and what do I gain if I delegate all or part of my 5.000 steem

This morning, when my voting power was 99.52%, I started upvoting everything at 25% or more, and still my voting power is above 94%

I paid for you to borrow 500 Steem Power for 4 weeks a while ago. That's why your wallet says It's a service through @minnowbooster. That's why your wallet says 17.839 STEEM (+535.826 STEEM). The additional power in parentheses is loaned at a rate of 5 STEEM per week times 4 = 20 STEEM.

At your level of SP I would not consider delegating any power to another account. I am doing so because I have 2,500 Steem power from investing in the platform (bought using bitcoin on Bittrex.)

You get 10 votes at 100% per day without draining your power. If you are voting at 25%, that means you need to vote 40 times to achieve the same effect.

I would recommend keeping your voting strength between 70 and 95% for best effect. Lower than that and the amount will be quite lessened, and if it is at 100% you are wasting your power (it's not doing anything in the platform)

I know it's terribly complicated. Hope that information helped but feel free to ask more questions here, or in the PAL discord, where my username is @d-pend. If you tell me your username I can send you a friend request and we can discuss there directly.

There are some small perks of me loaning my power to @minnowsupport, because I should get a low strength upvote from the @msp-lovebot project on all my posts now. However, it has not worked thus far, so it is either not working properly, or there may be a delay of a few days before it recognizes my delegation.

Trust me, I also get perplexed when learning about the mechanics of this platform, lol.

All the best,
D-pend.

I remember you saying that you had given me something. I had forgotten about it, and I still don't understand, but I think I am beginning to get a glimmer.
How can you see what is in my wallet? I've not tried to look in anyone else' wallet, but then I assumed it was private and only that person could look in their own wallet.
Thanks for the loan, and the explanation.
It seems that people have burned out on my brand, I've gotten almost no traffic (in comments anyway) today.
Thanks again.

my handle over there is the same as here; @jerrytsuseer
