#BitcoinAidMexico part 2 extended for 4 weeks and Bitso will donate 50% extra for a week
Last week I made a post for donations, organized by the company I work for Bitso, that were going for the last earthquake the 7th of September 2017, which affected mainly Oaxaca and Chiapas https://steemit.com/steemgigs/@josepimpo/bitcoinaidmexico-aiding-affected-people-by-mexico-s-earthquake-with-cryptocurrencies
On Monday 18th of January we did the first donation for all donations made in Bitcoin, Ripple and Ethereum, which included an extra MXN$50,000 from https://bitso.com The total transferred was $124,775.08 around USD$7,010 you can download the proof of payment from the Mexican central bank in the tutorial in the link with the details at the end of the post.
We were very happy on how the donation was going and that everyone could check the balances of the accounts:

It was announced that a earthquake drill would be done the 19th of September at 11am Mexico City time to commemorate and prepare people for an earthquake from 1985 in which over 10,000 died. After the drill everyone went back to their homes and offices to get on with their lives.
At 1pm suddenly the earthquake alarm went off and I felt the worst earthquake, this was not a drill. Glass from windows were breaking and falling, people screaming, fainting, earth shaking and aftewards... some building collapsed.
This is a picture I took of a building nearby, I had the opportunity to help out.
I had never seen buildings collapse and move like that, it amazed me, our offices did not fell, but they are closed until further notice. After this we decided to extend donation period 4 more weeks to the same wallets, and Bitso would donate 50% extra of what was received for 7 days.
Response have been amazing from friends, family, partners, media and everyone on the streets is helping out 24 hours. If anything can be donated it will be VERY appreciated.
50% of all donations will go to Mexican Red Cross and 50% to Topos, a Mexican volunteer rescue team formed after the 1985 earthquake
