Guess what time it is people? It is my new initiative that is now in week three. Something a little different about this week is that I am taking part of a contest hosted by @ifc and the #informationfinding marketplace. The topic for the week is "Marketing," and Great Spirit only knows how I am learning the ins-and-outs of this specific subject.

You see, I have not always been good at "selling," what I feel a natural born gift has been given me. Therefore, this is not an easy topic for me, but very timely since most of my life I have given freely. I have many initiatives I would love to move forward with, this Medicine Card Monday being one of them. The free part has to change in my life, but I will not stop this weekly reading as my gift to Steemit.

In addition, to my group reading I am going to incorporate individual readings to the community for a fee. The fee will be 1 STEEM or 1 SBD for an individual one card pull or three card reading. All of that aside, let us continue with this week's Medicine Card Monday!

What is Medicine Card Monday? With a positive intention, I am pulling a card of healing for the community. This is different than tarot in that the cards I use are on the medicinal aspect of humanity other than the most common cards found in a tarot deck.

More specifically the decks I use are from the Medicine Cards that work with Spirit Animals, Mystical Shaman Oracle Cards, and the Chakra Wisdom Oracle Cards. The cards will assist in helping those interested, find comfort in things going on in our community and the world we are now dealing with. Namely, issues around the world, atmospheric, or overcoming health issues of all sorts, etc.

My hope is that by pulling a card for Steemit this will in turn assist with my Medicine training, by using my intuition more (which can always use more practice), give back to the community, and help those seeking answers. I will take some of the reading from guidebooks provided with the cards, but also give intuitive and medicinal words to help our community. We all have days when we need encouragement, inspiration, and comfort.

Starting in a sacred space with a clear mind and body I pulled the Creation card from the Chakra Wisdom Oracle deck by Tori Hartman.

The Reading

Starting this week's reading I took a short training of seven videos in preparation. If anyone has ever done chakra work then you know how detailed this work can be. Of all things, I got onto a path that led me to Edgar Cayce, but this information will be for another blog.

The training assisted me in learning how to work with this particular deck with specific characteristics to keep in mind while sharing pertinent information. The cards are divided into six levels of messages and what is most interesting is the Creation card is entitled She Shaman, and reads "I will guide you to your muse." That gave me chills right there.

Let's continue with the explanation of the six parts of this card:

The Legend

This is a fairly long explanation so I will summarize. She Shaman is the representative bestowing artistic talents on a select few. Since I pulled that card for Steemit then that would mean we have some great talent here. If we look at curation pages and those who are sharing amazing talent in outstanding posts, then we know this to be true.

One day She Shaman sat under a birch tree and the birch asks her for a muse too. Birch entertains She Shaman with singing and storytelling. She Shaman smiles and said, "My great friend you have had your art all along." She vowed that from then on she would give everyone their own gift.

This sentence reminds me of the question I asked before I pulled this card for Steemit today, I asked where is Steemit going? Where is crypto currency going? Will there really be an economic collapse and will Steemit survive? Maybe I should have focused on one question, but I usually get all my answers. So why not ask it all at once? That's just me.

Anyhoo, the card continues with She Shaman has never left us, we see her inside every creative work. Excellent!

For example, I just started writing poetry, haiku's, short stories (again), and joining contests of all sorts. I am not a musician or singer, but I am in groups that are filled with them. This card tells us that we are all creative and no matter what our interests, it is limitless. Expand your avenues of creativity, and they will come. She Shaman never left us.

Inspiration

Your path is an artistic one. Express your love in a tangible art form. It is time to make decisions.

That sentence up there is a bit exciting in that if we are holding back, hold back no longer! Take confidence in the fact that we all have gifts to share, so feel free to express that side of yourself. Make that decision NOW!

Personal Inquiry

Am I waiting for someone's permission to create my life? What do I need to see in order to claim my own gifts?

Here again, do we really need someone to give us permission to say our work is good enough? I have found that on Steemit everyone has their own idea of what creative means. There are many rules in curation groups that even they break those rules and curate someone. Also, one person's idea of creativity is not the same for someone else. What I find beautiful in one post will not be the same for someone else.

For those that read this, listen to your own true self and if you have been blocked from creating something that you have been wanting to do, but did not find that push. This is your push, make that decision and go full speed ahead.

Key Ideas

Opening to magic; lasting transformation; divine feminine; awakening creativity; finding your muse; owning your gifts.

These key ideas are what will help you meditate on what your next step would be in the Steemit community. Not taking other's ideas but actuating your own special magic. Finding it within yourself to be true and share that with others in a creative way.

Focusing on these three words on a walk, working, or meditating will bring forth your own magic within the Steemit community. Give it a try!

Meditation

Open a notebook and a on a piece of clean paper, close your eyes and imagine She Shaman standing in a mist holding out her hand to you. (Don't get spooked, this isn't easy.) Ask for her guidance, or that of your guides, teachers, etc. Pick up your notebook and write. Write whatever comes to mind. Do not censor or judge yourself or the words/art you wrote or drew. They may mean nothing right NOW, but they will. Thank She Shaman for her visit. This can be done by lighting an incense or candle and saying the words "Thank you."

In conclusion, we learned that sticking to our crwwtive energies will help us get through whatever may come. In our process, we are learning and growing. Enhancing our art on Steemit. That said, we cannot fail.
