Part 2: The Golden Number 1.618 🌀 (a.k.a. the Phi Ratio) in Sacred Geometry. (With Original Sketches.)
Because the construction of Sacred Geometry loosely follows certain "rules," any accurate variations will contain the Phi ratio (1:1.618) all throughout it. One of the hidden places to find it is within the Platonic Solids, but in an indirect way. The following sketch shows the 5 solids themselves, and a couple of details about each of them.
(Below) To find (just one of the places) the Phi Ratio is hidden within a Dodecahedron, build 3 intersecting rectangles such that each corner of each rectangle meets the very centre of one plane of the dodeca.
(Below) Same idea to find the Phi Ratio in an Icosahedron, except build the rectangles from the vertices rather than the planes. These (and those in the dodeca,) are all called "Golden Rectangles," where their lengths are 1.618, and widths are 1 unit of measure...

I have been researching sacred geometry since the 90's... There's a beauty in that part of esoterica that I can't resist :) I also like the seed of life/tree of life drawing in the first post.

Indeed! It's part of Jewish prayers... Merkava means "chariot" in Hebrew. And it's also the shape of a healthy aura, a double tetrahedron, aka a 3D Jewish star... I hope to soon share some of those sketches of mine as well!^^

I suppose that either my skills, or my editing software is no good cause I couldn't seem to get better contrast as you rightly suggest. I'll have to see what I can do for next time cause I have many more pencil sketches... Any suggestion for decent, free, editing tools? Thanks!

Great: ) The easiest way to edit pencil sketches like these in Gimp is to use the "cartoon" artistic filter. This adds black ink to the grey pencil lines, which makes them stand out.
