Rules
- The next competition will begin at GMT 08:00 24/6/2017, which is about 24 hours later. By that time, a new post containing the question will be published.
- You are welcome to solve the problem mathematically or programmatically.
- A link to Google Form will be provided. This time you are invited to submit your mathematical proof (not a must) and your numerical answer (required). You must submit your answer through that Google Form to avoid cheating.
- Participants can submit for unlimited number of times, however only the latest answer will be considered.
- Participants who typed the answer in the comment section would be disqualified.
- You have to upvote this post AND the question post in order to be eligible for the competition.
Prizes
- The final SBD payout of this post would be the prize pool.
- The first participant who gave the correct mathematical proof will get 25% of the prize pool. 5 other participants who attempted to provide the proof (do not try to write some trash though, I will exclude you from the lucky draw) will be randomly drawn and each of them will get 5% of the prize pool.
- The first participant who gave the correct numerical answer will get 25% of the prize pool. 5 other participants who answered correctly will be randomly drawn and each of them will get 5% of the prize pool.
- Those who resteemed this post or the question post (to be announced after 24 hours) will have 400% higher chance to win!
- It is possible to win in both the mathematical proof award and numerical answer award!
- If not all prizes are given out, they will be accumulated for the next competition.
- @kenchung reserve all the rights to disqualify any suspected cheating players and decide the distribution of prize among the winner(s).

This will also increase the prize pool! I would be more than happy if any whales are willing to sponsor our prize pool ;) If you wish to directly sponsor the prize pool instead of upvoting this post, please let me know, I can arrange for this.
Glad to see its up again! Would definitely love to join (if the questions are actually solvable by me). It's been a long time since I last studied maths and I have forgotten much of it! Considering this may also be the case for others, I think you may give out some hints as well! Just a little suggestion, anyway thanks for the initiative. Looking forward to it :)
Glad that you are interested! yes that's definitely a good idea :)

I've set an alarm ;)
haha great ;)
Quick question with the prize pool be the rewards from this post and the question post or just this one?
just this one :) but to be eligible you have to upvote on both posts :)
Kenchung!! Thank you for organizating the maths x programming competition. Another great competition and payout. I cannot wait for another competition, but can it be easier hehe. It seems like i could not even understand the question before the others already come up the answer.
Have a nice day.
haha thanks for stopping by! This time I will make a question that is difficult to solve in maths approach, yet easy to brute force by programming. Maybe you can focus on the brute force part if you think it is too difficult :)
Btw please make sure you upvote my posts to be eligible for the competition :)
