MarketFriday / 市集星期五
MarketFriday time again. Yup. But the photos were captured last Tuesday at the pasar malam (night market) near my neighborhood. Beautiful clouds. Looks like a puppy to me.
上星期二我到了离我家不远的市集买了点蔬果。先来张漂亮的云的照片。想只小狗吗？
My mission that day was to buy some veggies and fruits. Mangoes... Yum yum... My girls love eating mangoes and so do I. Bought 2kgs of these sweet mangoes.
当天我的任务是买菜和水果。看到这些芒果，买！哈哈哈。。。因为我和三个女儿都爱吃芒果。很甜哪。。。买了两公斤。
Aren't the veggies looking good...? Bought some brinjals, lady's fingers and cabbage. My mother in law wanna cook curry. These veggies in the basket... 3 baskets is RM5 which is about USD 1+.
接下来是矮瓜，羊角豆和包菜。是的，我家婆要煮咖哩。三蓝青菜五零吉，大概是一美元多一些。

奇怪，那里怎么那么多人啊？去看看。

Petai. Wonder what's it called in English? A type of veggies which has a strong smell. Normally cooks with sambal belacan.
臭豆。好吃。是的，我爱吃。

Drinks and food!
饮料和食物
OK... That's it... Bought too many things and couldn't take more photos... Getting too heavy... 🤣 Hope you enjoy walking with me to my market.

Wow! I am totally jealous of that amazing market that you have there! You have absolutely everything and plenty of it. Your fruits and veggies look fresh and wonderful. I want some mangos too!!!! You should pick up an extra!
I am actually quite fond of Markets that run along the entire town like that, it give me room to spread out and spread out the throngs of people. I find it amazing that people set this up every day (or is there certain Market days?) and then take it down every night, only to put it back up!
Whew!!! That is a lot of work!
Nevertheless, it is a wonderful market that has something for everyone and I am so very happy that you shared a bit of your culture with us! As always, all the work put into those are appreciated and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
