The Mustard Ghost Moth
Here is another large visitor to my moth light. This Ghost moth (family Hepialidae) is 68mm in length and is rather bulky compared to most moths. It is known as the Mustard Ghost Moth, Abantiades hyalinatus. Often they have just plain coloured wings without the white markings.
The photos were taken with a Canon 7D and Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro lens.
