Seagulls Perform Circus Act -- Courtship and Mating (Video and Photos)
We have only three species of Gull here in Tasmania. The largest one is the Pacific Gull, Larus pacificus. Below is some video footage I took in 2016 of their courtship and mating behaviour which somewhat resembles a rather impressive circus act. I've also included a couple of photos.

They have really good balance :) thanks for sharing
What a balancing act. Lovely how they dine and then circle each other too. 🦋
Great post ;)
LOVE your nature photography @mostly.nature You are very talented. I visited Hobart for a day before Christmas as part of a cruise and would truly love to explore Tasmania especially as it is very similar to New Zealand where I was born. I look forward in returning to enjoy more of your work soon.
