Some Arthropodian Visitors Found In, and Around, My Home
Here are a few recent visitors that I've found both in, and around, my home.
All of the photos were taken with a Canon 7D and Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro lens.
( All photos, videos, and text on this blog are by @mostly.nature )
First up is one of the Longicorn Beetles. I don't have a name for this one yet. I didn't have to travel far for this one. It was walking across the floor boards just behind the chair here at my desk.
Here's a wider view to show how long it's antennae are.
This one is an introduced species. It is the Portuguese millipede, Ommatoiulus moreleti. It was on the back wall of the house.
.and finally a shot of the Leaf Curling Spider, Phonognatha graeffei, in the back garden.
