Profound Insights Into The Consciousness Of New Paradigm Parenting: It Can Be Not Only Be Easy, But Enjoyable! SEE It In Action In This Video.
This is a video from about 6 years ago with my first born child. I had already been speaking at conferences on parenting and education for many years, and I had been heavily involved with children since I was 12 years old.
Since I was 12 years old, I was a "better" parent than every other parent I had ever met, and all the children that I baby sat or took care of or even knew agreed fully.
With that being said, I can tell you that having "your own" child is far different. There is a massive amount of responsibility, especially if you want to be a "good parent". It is very demanding and never ending. I had to change my entire life - well, I didn't HAVE TO, but I DID if I wanted to be a "good parent".
I have been posting about parenting a bit lately here on Steemit, and thankfully it has been well recieved because I feel that it is of the utmost importance. In fact, one of my favorite quotes is "~*~Almost all the world’s problems start with parenting, thus the solutions to the world’s problems lie in New Paradigm parenting~*~"

Today I am sharing this 14 minute long video that I made specifically to help bring insight, empowerment, and hope to parents old and new. There is so much profound implication in this video, and while it doesn't address every single practical moment a parent will face, I feel it addresses the truly important foundations of what I refer to as New Paradigm Parenting.
You can see me and my 1 year old child being together in the moment to moment. Imagine trying to give a presentation with a 1 year old......Well imagine no more, HERE IT IS!
It really is possible to be successful and enjoy being a parent even with the many very real demands/responsibilities of being a parent. The key is not in sacrificing our life but in living our life purposefully.
I hope you invest time in watching this regardless of if you are a new, old, or even a parent at all.

A healthy mind is a healthy body, that is for sure! Living and eating as you do, with ALL that Love around, I'm sure your kids have super powers! Your children are so lucky! Here are some other super powered kids who used to live here and play with us building Earthships!

Oh how easy and enjoyable life with children can be. What a great video sharing the potential for presence with these divine beings! I have never seen these children upset or annoyed by you, but always respectful and seeking your guidance, knowing you are always there for them in ways not even tangible to the eye. Their feelings toward you are a beautiful reflection of how you are with them. I am grateful to bear witness to such magnificence.

To me there is nothing more important to improving this world than improving how we parent. I know that all parents do the best that they can yet it has resulted in quite a dysfunctional world.
Parents often say "well my parents did it and I am still alive so it must have worked" to me that is just such LOW low standards.

What an insightful video and a great reminder about mindfulness as a parent. I really love how you speak about honouring the needs of the child and ourselves - what a beautiful way to frame our day-to-day actions. While we do have "toys" we don't have nearly as many as most and they were all given to us. We often keep them out of sight, only offer a few, and have over half packed away. We don't have the space but we also love letting our kids explore, discover, and practice their skills. Aside from books, they always seem to enjoy the most mundane objects, like a foot stool. We laugh when others interfere to "teach" our kids to crawl. We love watching them naturally move into these abilities while others impatiently try to force them to use to move their hands and feet. They do not honour their process nor their being. I am looking forward to your future insights. -Aimee

I LOVE that video. All different ages in children bring something awesome and new, but it still amazes me after 4 kids just how much they grow and learn each day by just 'being'. We're unschooling and I don't teach them much, but they teach me :) Your kids are beautiful. And always inspiring. So much even, that I'm painting a picture inspired by your girls!
Yes it is truly amazing isn't it. I do teach them a lot but its not active teaching. They learn everything that is important to them by living and observing. All I have to do is answer their questions and be honest with them. It gives them access to the entire world of their desires.

I'll let you know when it's done completely. It still needs some finishing touches. I don't 'teach' in a teacher kind of way, but let them explore and question and try things. And the living and observing thing is so true. I first knew this was the case when I worked somewhere in a job I'd never done before and after a while I was telling others with degrees in the field how to do it. It made me rethink my whole life basically and all the time I wasted in school and college when I could have done so much more if it had been differently. That was the last 'job' that I ever had.
Yes school is a huge waste of time and money. Glad you learned and are now living a conscious life of possibility!
