The last 2 topics were about romance, how important it is to keep it going and what elements do you need to experience romance. If you missed it follow the links at the end of this post.

We all are so busy making a living that we forget to enjoy life. Every day we just go through the motions of what is required and expected to just keep our lives going. We have to stop and smell the roses, we have to stop and make time for romance. Even if you have to schedule a time for you to engage with your spouse. Some people will say but that is not spontaneous. If you schedule time for other important things in life, then you and your spouse can schedule a special time for you to be together and romantic.

You can come up with lots of excuses to not have a date with your spouse.
I don't have enough time,
Dating costs too much money
I am too tired to go out
Where we going to get a babysitter etc etc etc.

You may think that there is no urgency to make a special effort toward your relationship or marriage, but you don't have to be a psychologist to see that this sort of attitude lies behind the rapid deterioration of marriages. The divorce rate worldwide is just getting higher, if you want this to not happen to you, or even save your relationship or marriage, you should bring romance and dating back in your life. To Invest in your marriage is to invest in your own happiness.

In future posts in will tell you what will dating do for your relationship and marriage.

As you say, it's an investment. We invest in that which we value, and what could be more important than our marriage.

Oh, @eyeofthestorm I like how you worded that. Check out my Poem I think you might enjoy it

Life is so busy, that other things can easily take away from valuable time spent with our spouses. Spontaneity, while it can be fun, is vastly overrated and people who rely solely upon it are likely to be disappointed.
Scheduling, as you point out, doesn't have to be unromantic. In fact, making a definite point of setting aside special times to be with your spouse is the height of romance because it's a way of saying 'you're so important to me that no matter what else is trying to pull me in other directions, there's nothing I'd rather do than be with you.' Thanks for a great post.

Thank you @eyeofthestorm for your wonderful comment. I appreciate your support.
