Air Jordan

Created in 1984 for professional basketball player Michael Jordan, a brand of basketball footwear produced by Nike. At first produced only for Jordan, later released to the public. First model, which was Air Jordan I was designed by Peter C. Moore. At first, the model was called Nike Air Ship, which was a prototype of the later model Air Jordan I. Nike Air Ship was banned at NBA fields, because it broke a '51 percent' rule - it means that shoes had to be 51 percent white and in accordance with what the rest of team was wearing. After the Nike Air Ship was banned, Nike with Jordan created Air Jordan I, which wasn't breaking the NBA rules, in colorways "Chicago" and "Black Toe".
